I have had it for about a month, and I believe I have a complete opinion about the product. I mainly use it for DJing but also for school browsing tasks, etc.
Positives:
- Quite good battery life although in the first few days it scared me because it had a very short duration but improved significantly after the first week.
- Very cool, the fan rarely runs at full speed, and this will only happen under heavy load.
- Quite fast for browsing and simple tasks, but I would like to elaborate more on this below because I have some reservations about it.
- The screen is a normal IPS, however, the difference in colors compared to an OLED will be noticeable, but it does its job decently and has good brightness.
Negatives:
- It does not have a backlit keyboard, which is very bad if there is no lighting at all in the room.
- It has very stiff ports. I don't know if this is a negative, but it is a bit difficult to connect a USB device.
And the last and most important issue I have with the laptop, which concerns me more than any of the above, is its optimization. I have noticed a lot of bugs, the main one being that many times it freezes and does not produce sound, resulting in needing a restart every time. I also tried to download Euro Truck Simulator 2, as I know it is a lightweight game, and I hoped that with such a processor (12 cores and 16 threads) and of course 16GB RAM and NVMe SSD, it would at least run on medium settings. Of course, I am not saying that the laptop is intended for gaming, but its specs are not negligible. And that is where I was disappointed. Medium settings with shadows off, and the game would drop to 30 FPS every 2 minutes for a few seconds and then return. And this would repeat. Something needs to be done about this issue; low-range PCs should not perform better than this in many things, even in browsing. Its specs are excessively powerful for the results the user gets. It seems that they have not worked on making it run properly.
UPDATE 11/9/24: Everything has improved regarding the bugs. The machine literally flies! Absolutely satisfied with the purchase.
