After 6 months of daily use, the watch needs charging every day, while before I charged it about once a week. At the same time, the ring it has, which changes, loosens over time and in the end, I lost it. Nice watch in general, but unfortunately, it is not reliable, so it is not worth the money.
While it worked perfectly for almost a month, it suddenly stopped measuring heart rate, oxygen, sleep, and the activation with the lift of the hand. I don't know if it's the sensor's fault or if there's some issue with the software. I can't find any related topic anywhere on the internet.
The watch is NOT WATERPROOF even though Xiaomi claims it is. All these problems occurred after it went into the sea for a short time. I had the S1 before, which also presented the exact same issue in the fourth month. Half of the screen is now yellow, as if water has gotten in and damaged it.
I have had it for 5 months. I was waiting for the heat and I verified it. As soon as it heats up, it turns off by itself. Other than that, it is very good in its measurements and in its synchronization with Xiaomi and Samsung mobile phones.
Excellent quality and very vfm. From measurements, it is for amateur use, not suitable for athletes. Very convenient to respond via Bluetooth and very helpful that it accepts a card for payments (I don’t put it freely in water because I don’t trust watches with buttons; the seals get damaged). You don’t easily get bored with so many faces (we are waiting for them) and watch faces. Its strap is 22mm, so you can put whatever you want, even outside of its own. Its own strap is excellent, soft with a good fit, it doesn’t make you sweat, and the fact that the end folds inside guarantees that it won’t get stuck or the rubber rings won’t come out to hang or unclip like the old system. For its price, it’s a yay (If you want something more economical to go into the sea and with NFC, prefer one of the small pressed Mi Bands with NFC)
This watch is the best smart watch I have had so far. Its advantages are that it has good protection, screen, functions, synchronization, comfort, quality, and durability. However, what I don't like much about this watch is that it loses battery from the daily stress measurement and that it generally loses battery easily, but it's not a big deal since it lasts for at least 6-7 days. Another disadvantage is that it doesn't measure steps well but rather calories and standing time. For example, I was sitting and watching TV, and it sent me a notification that the standing goal was achieved, and then seconds later for the calories (as for swimming in the pool, it measures well). Another disadvantage is the ring around the screen, which is really ANNOYING because every time I go to make my bed in the morning, I find it on the bed. However, I believe that if I put glue on it, it will stick. This watch is worth the money, and I don't regret buying it
The ring around the screen is removable. At first, everything was okay, but a few days later it started falling off on its own, without necessarily touching it somewhere, causing me to constantly search for it. Otherwise, it's okay.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 is a pretty good smartwatch for its price, a week of use and I haven't encountered any problems. It is waterproof (up to 50 meters depth), answers calls, as it has a microphone and speakers, and I am very satisfied with them. It has several applications, it doesn't have an app store to download more, but I don't think it's necessary. The screen is excellent (466x466 pixels), the battery lasts for 15 days (and more with less usage). It is made of sturdy materials. The frame of the watch is made of aluminum alloy, while the strap is made of stainless steel. The watch's screen is protected by Corning Gorilla glass, which offers resistance to scratches and falls. A very honest smartwatch, it competes with smartwatches that cost five times as much (+).
The best you can get for this money! Its battery easily lasts a week with all functions activated, its screen has excellent clarity even in high outdoor lighting conditions, and its measurements are quite accurate. The build quality reminds of premium watches and it sits comfortably on the wrist, without being bothersome despite its size. It really is worth its money!
I have had the watch for 10 days. It is a beautiful and unique watch. It is quite thick and sturdy. The build quality is very good. The measurements are accurate and the battery life is long. Without activating all the 24-hour measurements, but with everything else open and many calls throughout the day, it has lost 40% in 6 days. It takes and receives calls. The NFC works perfectly for payments. I, who do not have a National Bank or Alpha Bank card, have put a Curve card and it works with Visa and Mastercard from any bank you want. What could be improved is the speaker volume during calls, which I would like to be louder. In a noisy environment, you can't hear well. I don't mind that you can't install apps because I simply don't need anything more. The synchronization with iOS is flawless, but you can't add music to the watch. There are many watch faces to choose from and you can even create your own.
The watch is the best SMART watch I have gotten so far and it is my 5th... it has everything, you can adjust everything... if I have to say something a little bigger I would like it to be!
I have it since April. I connected it to Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro from China and although I tried Chinese, Greek and another account I think from America you couldn't add a card for contactless payments. Even now in June. However, I received a Oneplus 12 and there I was able to add a Curve card (with National Bank, Piraeus from Greece on the back) and make payments without any problem. It is my 4th smart watch and I bought it because I was interested in battery life and changing the bezel to match my clothes. I have bought both the original navy blue bezel with a strap as well as very cheap covers from AliExpress. I am very satisfied, it will cover me until Huawei releases a smartwatch of similar quality to the latest 4 pro and ultimate with even better battery life and support for contactless payments. Although I don't expect much from the company for the latter. Xiaomi always offers a Value For money & stylish choice.
I bought it mainly for the gym but I wear it all day,
It looks nice and simple, of course with the purchase of another strap or bracelet you can customize it as you like. You can also change faces and widgets. Be careful when changing the strap, make sure it is securely fastened, otherwise it will come off if you hit the watch.
The build quality is very good, the material is aluminum and the screen is AMOLED of very good quality as well.
Very easy synchronization with android and iPhone at least for me.
It has NFC for contactless payments, which works with alpha bank and national banks in Greece for now.
Its sensors are very good, the deviations from Polaris H10 are very small. For heart rate and distance measurement, the oximeter has some deviations.
Sleep monitoring is also very good.
You can make and receive calls on the watch, but you need to be connected to your mobile via Bluetooth. The sound quality during calls is very good. I use it quite a lot for my calls.
You can also transfer your music from your mobile to the watch, and you can also connect your Bluetooth headphones to listen to your music.
It runs on Xiaomi's operating system and not wearOS (android version for watches), which means it does not have google play store or apps other than the existing ones. I see some people complaining about this and I don't download it because of that. There are so many detailed reviews on the internet that explain these things.
Another difference between Xiaomi's operating system and WearOS is how long the battery lasts. Xiaomi's operating system can last up to 15 days depending on usage, I put it around 8 days because I use it in many activities. WearOS lasts 3 days if you are lucky, usually it is 1 day unfortunately from my personal experience. WearOS watches start at prices over 150 euros and personally they have nothing more to offer me. But everyone chooses based on their personal criteria.
It is a good product overall, but in term of sensors I still recommend the cheap smart band. I come from an Amazfit Bip and Amazfit GTR2e and this one it looks more smart and resistant, but the battery last 10 days, when the Amazfit easily could do 14 days. Plus the call feature for me is useless and the payment system works with some limited banks. But the main problem of this watch is the mobile app, Mi Fitness has lost many functions during the updates, and in term of advantages doesn't offer more than what you can do with your smart band 8. So, buy it if you want something more stylish, but if you want just to track data, buy a smart band 8.
Satisfied with the use I want, a simple smart watch for time, sleep, date, the menu is very good because it has a calendar and other helpful functions. The quality is so-so. The synchronization with Xiaomi smartphone is very good
The watch is beautiful, the battery lasts a long time. The crown comes off easily if you touch it somewhere and it can be lost because it requires a very small rotation of about half a cm to lock and unlock. The crown has fallen off 3 times so far without me hitting it. In addition, the NFC states in the application that it ONLY works with Master Card from Alphabank or National Bank. You can talk via Bluetooth from the watch very well. A significant drawback is that, although it is a Smart watch, you cannot reply to any kind of message from any application, not even quick replies. What is the difference from a much cheaper Smart Band? It does not have the ability to install applications at all. Also, I noticed that with about 50 minutes of elliptical exercise, it records over 1000 Kcal / Calories. Something that seems unrealistic. And in general, it records excessively many calories without doing anything special. It does not distinguish between Active Calories and Resting Calories, it shows total calories as Mi Fitness states. But still, today for example, after 6 hours at the office without doing anything, it now tells me at 14:52 that I have burned 800 Kcal. I should mention that I have done a factory reset but nothing has changed. Thank you.
Accurate measurements in sports because it was compared to Strava on the mobile with a maximum deviation of 10 meters. It has everything, you forget to charge it, the screen is great, the construction is very good and the price is perfect, it outperforms more expensive watches. I connected it to Xiaomi 13t and it connected immediately, notifications, etc. come to the mobile. I haven't tried swimming because I'm thinking of joining a swimming pool, I will risk it there, however, it is said to be suitable for swimming. For this money, there is no other option with a reliable company
I bought the gray one on 16/5/24 and synced it with the Xiaomi poco x3 Pro.
I won't talk about the positives as many have already mentioned them.
I gave it 3 stars because it constantly desynchronizes. I don't know if the watch has a problem, if I haven't done something right, or if something is happening with the phone. What I know for sure is that I had the Xiaomi Redmi Watch 2 Lite before and I never had synchronization issues. With this one, I have to go to the app-sync at least 5-6 times a day to communicate with the phone. So, I conclude that the watch is to blame. And to think that I decided to get Xiaomi again because I had no synchronization issues with the previous one and because I also own a Xiaomi phone for what is supposed to be perfect communication. Not even close!!! If anyone knows something and can help solve the issue, I would be happy. I have already updated and I am eagerly waiting for new updates to hopefully fix it.
Battery: With walking for one to one and a half hours a day, without music, with some measurements open (not all), it lasts a maximum of 4-5 days.
As for beauty... ok, it's a good watch, not wow, not bad. What I definitely have to say is that on a woman's wrist, it's a bit big. Overall, it's a big watch that definitely fits better on a man's wrist.
Conclusion: no matter how good it may be, if I knew about the synchronization issue, I wouldn't have bought it.
Price VFM. With everyday use, without options for training/sports, which concerns calls, payments, notifications etc... it has a battery life of 5 to 6 days. Large screen with very good clarity. The GPS was tested and it is quite accurate. The measurements regarding steps, SP02 and heart rate are also accurate. For entry level use in combination with the mobile phone, it is a very good choice. It has the ability to accept/reject calls from it. It has a built-in microphone. Notifications from mail, viber (almost all) are displayed.
Good little watch for its money.. very basic for me the battery lasts... of course there will be better in the battery.. with normal use comfortably a week .. with heavier use if you listen to a lot of music use it a lot in running with gps and the like logically 5 days depending on use it can go up to 10 days .. you just need to do a couple of charges to stabilize it. . Indications phone finding you talk from it favorite contacts gps when running .. heart rate sleep calendar notes reminders recording on the watch for notes and weather fine nice bright screen fine.. notifications everything from the mobile on the watch... you answer normally in tilt and see messages.. the bad thing is that you can't even reply with quick replies.. you can't send emojis like in other watches and more economical you only read the message... in messenger that luckily calls me it doesn't show on the watch.. loses a star that you can't reply with a quick answer to the messages they send you and for some reason it doesn't connect my samsung headphones but chinese headphones connected.. the sound in the headphones is mediocre.. the music plays very nicely on the watch in open listening.. the call is heard perfectly you hear so and so indoors you hear pretty well outdoors you have to put it close to you .. I put it in the water twice in the bath I took if you put it with water pressure and it goes to the headphone it will clog you won't hear at all it will distort needs patience a little to hit it somewhere softly to blow it has the option to clean it by itself and it stabilizes in the sea I didn't put it neither in the pool... good watch for what it offers and for its price take it fearlessly
conclusion .....
1 it doesn't have wifi... or play store for whoever wants it on the watch the great autonomy satisfies you though..
2 big negative for me you can't reply to messages you only read them when they call you in messenger it doesn't show that they're calling you.. it notifies you normally in messages
3 I can't connect it to my samsung headphones I can't find it for some reason... it connects to other headphones..
4 up to 10 favorite contacts satisfies me fine... it also has sos calls if you fall it calls a favorite contact phone or sends them a message.
5 there is no way to turn off bluetooth you just disconnect it if you want it as a simple watch.
Purchased on 20/04/2024 for 110 euros. Beautiful and convenient, I got the silver one. I haven't worked with it yet to have an opinion, but a test I did in measuring my anxiety sometimes says that the measurement is impossible. Once I work with it a bit, I will come back.

I won't mention the good things, others have already said them.
01. When you perform an exercise on the watch, you can see the exercise parameters (heart rate, duration, etc.) but not the time or the menu, which means you can't make a call or perform any other action. It's not like that in the Zepp application.
02. During an exercise, you don't hear audio messages like in the Zepp application. For example, walking 1 kilometer in 16 minutes and 10 seconds with a heart rate of 120. It's completely silent.
03. During an exercise, there is no option to pause the recording in the application when you stop for a while. The Zepp application notifies you with an audio message when you stop and when you start again.
04. At least in one store I tried, the NFC didn't work for me. It shows on the POS that it's working, but it doesn't connect to the bank. However, later when I tried it elsewhere, it worked fine.
05. When you're on a phone call, even though you connect headphones, the conversation is not transferred to them. You continue to talk and listen from the watch with sound that is not very loud. In a noisy environment, you can't hear your interlocutor well.
06. The strap fastens from the inside, and when you want to take off the watch, it's difficult to do so.

After about 3 months of operation, suddenly the sound has decreased significantly and it doesn't sound good even though the settings are at the highest point.
I got the watch 5 days ago and it's my first smart watch. I believe it does what it says really well at its price. If anyone needs more from his/her watch please read its functions well before you buy it and don't complain about it afterwards. For example it does not connect to the internet so it does not have a store to download apps. Get over it. I am not sure how accurate its measurements are but tbh it's not a medical equipment so im satisfied with its performance nonetheless. It was easy to sync with my Xiaomi phone. It has a variety of watch faces to choose from, so everyone will find at least 1-2 that they like. It's very responsive both to the touch and when I use the raise to wake up function which is key factor to me. Even though they introduced easy swap to different bezel and strap (I can't find them in Greece yet) the default ones are beautiful as well (I got the black one and it looks good to me). At first I felt there is no way the battery is going to last for a long time, but I think with my use one charge per week will be good and I'm satisfied with that since it charges quite quickly. It came with 60ish percent battery and I charged it to 96%. After 5 days of "my kind of" use it's at 40%. Even though it has NFC, I had some issues adding my card, so I just didn't try again. It's more convenient for me to pay using my phone anyway so I don't really mind. I also really like that you can map one function you want to the bottom button to have quick access to it. Personally I have mapped that to the calendar. Everything looks great so far so why not 5 stars? Well there are some minor details I don't like and I'm going to talk about. The watch comes with Alexa as its voice assistant and that's not available in my country so it's annoying that I can't completely deactivate it. There is no way to change the date format. That's not that bad for me personally but I feel like it should have been an option in the first place. Notifications work great (you can choose which apps you want notifications from) but it cannot display emojis, for example when someone reacts to something, so that's a bit disappointing.
I bought it on 13.4.24. for 119€. I connect it with Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro.
positives:
It has a good battery, a large screen, and connects steadily with the mobile. You can talk normally from your mobile and be heard with a quality of 8.5/10. You can also make calls from the watch, either by typing the number from the watch, or from recent calls, or even from the device's "favorite" calls (up to 100 numbers). It has a Greek menu. It gives you a report every night on how long and how well you slept, and in what percentage was deep or light sleep (with a nice graphic and numerical way).
negatives:
1. It does not have wifi, does not have the play store, like the Watch6.
2. It does not have the option to turn off bluetooth.
3. It records sound and does not give you the option to export what you wrote on the mobile! remains local!
4. You cannot choose which of the calendars (in case you have multiple google calendars) will synchronize with the notifications on the watch.
5. From assistants, it only has Alexa, but your watch tells you that it does not work in our area (Greece)...
6. It does not allow you to change the date type to DD.MM format, it remains in MM.DD.
7. You cannot reply to SMS messages on various social media platforms. You can only see them. Of course, in a way that does not show that they have been read (useful).
8. It does not download the entire phonebook to your phone (like Watch6), but you manually set up to 100 favorite numbers.
