I bought this camera to be installed on a farm. I will provide you with my experience, having used another indoor security camera at my house, a relatively cheap one with WiFi functionality and not 4G.

This specific camera is good in terms of quality. It has two solar panels, which is a positive aspect, and it is very difficult to find a 4G camera with two panels at this price.

Now, let's talk about the installation and operation. First, you need to download an application to operate the Ubox. Once you install it, you need to register with a regular email address, just like everything else. It is advisable to insert a microSD card to store the recorded footage, so that you can view it later. You also need to insert a SIM card with data from Greek providers, so that the camera can connect via satellite and you can control it through the mobile application.

After you have done all of this, you can open the camera and the application, and connect them using the camera's QR code. Then, you will enter the magical world of technology and surveillance.

Now, let's talk about the menu. It is simple and only available in English, because other countries are not allowed to have these features in cheap cameras. This is a classic Chinese characteristic. It is a simple menu, without many fancy features. It does not allow you to set focus zones for motion detection, motion detection, person detection, intrusion detection, area crossing, or camera tampering. It lacks all of these, but it records everything on the memory card, so you still have control.

The image quality is good in HD mode, and it has good night vision with a projector and color recording. The motion sensor I tested can detect intrusion up to 10 meters. Overall, it is a simple camera that will do its job and give you control over the area you are interested in. Its battery life is still 100% after two days of testing, even with cloudy weather. This is good because it will never leave you without power in a field. The camera is only available in white, which I did not like, so I painted it matte black and it became discreet and very nice.

I will update if I come across any negative aspects.

New update: 21-05-2023. After purchasing this camera, it worked without any issues for just two months, and then it went offline and could not connect to anything. A pink light was flashing. I sent it back to the store, and they kindly informed me that they would send it to Thessaloniki to be checked. Indeed, it was sent and they made some adjustments before returning it to me.

As soon as I received it from the store, I connected it and everything was fine. However, I noticed that it did not provide any notifications when it detected motion. So, I closed the application and reopened it, but the same issue occurred again, with the pink light flashing. As a result, I could not pair it with the application. I tried resetting it, but the same problem persisted.

Now, the unfortunate part is that the warranty does not cover me because I painted it black after purchasing it in white, and they consider this as third-party intervention, which is not allowed according to the warranty terms.

Therefore, I do not have the intention to deal with it again because simply put, the camera is a piece of junk from the manufacturing country, freely circulating in the market and causing inconvenience to consumers.

So, before you purchase it, think carefully and consider spending a little more to get a reputable brand.
