The thuja is a coniferous ornamental plant that stands out for its rich dense crown in green-yellow color. It grows in all soils and does not have particular requirements regarding the soil, although in more fertile ones it will have better growth. The thuja is tolerant of soil salinity and can be planted near the sea. It needs regular watering, especially during the summer period. We water the thujas twice a week during the spring and autumn periods, and definitely three times a week during the hot summer period. It needs pruning twice a year, at the end of summer and early spring, to maintain its dense and compact shape.
