In Ottoman Thessaloniki of 1885, a tasteless joke, a few glances, and some old secrets are enough to ignite a romantic relationship between a naive and dreamy man and a dynamic woman. In Athens, King George I reigns, in Ermoupoli trade flourishes, and in Thessaloniki, the fog prevails.
