Just the fact that I got rid of the "Chinese" ads with the crystal-clear operating system is worth 5 stars! Another 5 stars for its size and minimal weight. I believe that a larger and heavier phone starts to not be "mobile." Now I pick up classic phones (e.g., Poco, etc.) and they feel like bricks. It does everything perfectly without lag. Battery, yes with heavy use it logically doesn't last a day. With light use, personally, it easily lasts me 3 days and with its charger, it charges in a few minutes.
Its price has almost doubled today 9/24 (370e) from 3/24 when it was 188e
I've had it for a year. I highly recommend it. It's for average use and it does the job just fine. The turbo charging is the best. The photos are very good. The best part, however, is that it's so thin that it has nothing to do with the bulky ones that are out there. I can even put it in my pocket with the transparent case and I don't lean from the weight of the phone! I can't stand phones that are like tennis rackets.
It doesn't work as a TV control. The voice during the call is not very clear and we don't have internet from data during the call, while I found the setting through WIFI by disabling the WIFI assist when talking about a better signal. The screen is amazing.
By far the best mobile phone in the under-200 euro category. The battery easily lasts all day, the cameras are very impressive (a small complaint about the 13MP ultra-wide one). The screen is truly as good as my father's S23+. Fast charging is indeed FAST (0-100 in ~40 minutes), while wireless charging is slow (at 5-7.5W) it's nice to have (although it doesn't have reverse wireless charging). There is also a fingerprint sensor under the screen (quite fast I would say for optical), far faster than my old S8.
Overall, I give it a 9/10 in its category (I was a bit bothered by the ultrawide camera and the lack of reverse wireless charging)
I am completely satisfied with this mobile phone. The browsing is fast, the photos are very good (especially with the high-resolution option), the call quality is excellent, and the charging from 0-100% takes 1 - 1.5 hours. The only drawback I find is the battery life, which lasts two days on a new device with moderate use. Overall, though, it is a very impressive mobile phone at this price. It is not random, after all, that it has minimal negative reviews. I recommend it!
A perfect all-around mobile phone for normal to slightly demanding use, which handles everyday life with great ease in everything! Very light and fast software. Awesome screen, high frequency and quite intense with nice viewing and colors. Quick fingerprint sensor under the screen. Instant face recognition even in low light! Loud speaker, just like its earpiece. Excellent signal! Processor and RAM capable and fast enough for everyday use that everyone does, and it performs perfectly in conjunction with the software, delivering seminars on much more expensive mobile phones...!!!! Exemplary battery usage, which easily lasts the day for most people and charges quickly so you never run out.... Satisfactory and ideal size for a mobile phone, not like those bulky devices! I got it for my father, but it would easily have a place in my own life if I didn't already have the awesome NOVA 5T even for today! Hurry up! A little gem...!!!!
I bought this phone mainly for its size and I'm glad I got it before it stopped being released because there really isn't anything else in these dimensions at "normal" prices, but apart from that, it's also a very good overall package that doesn't lack anything for everyday use.
Although I don't deal much with photography, I installed the latest version of Gcam (9.2) to see if it has any difference from the stock application and it does indeed produce more accurate colors during the day, while it has a significant difference in the option for night shots. Initially, when the application is installed, the ultra-wide angle lens may not work and requires some settings changes.
I bought it as a backup for my Oneplus 8T (which I was extremely satisfied with) and ultimately, due to its quality and completeness of features, and most importantly, due to its smaller size and weight, it replaced my Oneplus and became my main smartphone!
For less than 200€, you get what we were looking for a while ago in the 400-500€ range, namely:
1) 5G
2) P-OLED display with excellent contrast and readability. Its colors are slightly cooler (I emphasize "slightly") compared to a good AMOLED, but acceptable for me. With a 120Hz refresh rate, it provides smooth scrolling and great video and gaming experience.
3) In-display fingerprint reader (a basic need for me) that works effectively.
4) 8GB RAM and 256GB storage! It doesn't take a microSD card, but that didn't bother me.
5) Processor that, combined with the fairly large RAM, performs better than expected, surpassing the more powerful Snapdragon of the Oneplus 8T. I was genuinely surprised by its responsiveness, I didn't expect it. Obviously, the operating system plays a role here, as it is essentially stock Android without any unnecessary additions and likely optimized by Motorola. It has already been upgraded to version 14 and works flawlessly, without any bugs, which shows the manufacturer's seriousness. However, I don't have an opinion on its performance in demanding games.
6) Super-fast 68W charging, and the charger is included in the package!
7) Main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) (!!!) and very good photo and video quality during the day! It can even produce raw files if the user chooses. At night, it performs decently (with increased noise in dark areas compared to the best ones). The 32MP selfie camera is also satisfactory. It doesn't shoot 4K video (due to the processor) and generally may not satisfy very demanding users, but it will satisfy most people.
8) Truly amazing battery management! Despite having "only" 4,020mAh compared to the now common 5,000mAh of the competition, the device literally excels in energy management. With everything constantly turned on (Bluetooth, WiFi, Data, GPS), the screen at 120Hz, continuous connection with a Bluetooth headset and a smartwatch (Redmi Watch 4) simultaneously, which even warns that continuous connection consumes a lot of battery, with a minimum of two hours of talk time, two to three hours of browsing and social media usage per day, and using it everywhere for NFC payments, etc., it easily lasts two days between charges (it has even lasted three for me). I assume it will last at least one day in almost any usage scenario. I should only add that I have good signal strength in my area, so its transmitter doesn't have to work at full power.
9) Finally, a compact size and weight of just 155g. Much more convenient than the standard 6.5+ inch screens and 190+ grams of weight. Motorola deserves applause for daring to do this. For me, it was the cherry on top that led me to the decision to buy it.
The fact that its frame and body are made of plastic doesn't bother me at all since, on the one hand, it looks high-quality and, on the other hand, obviously helped keep the weight and cost low. Of course, it's not overall better than my Oneplus, but it's very close in almost every aspect and even better in some areas, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.
Although it does not have a classic headphone jack, the package includes wired headphones with a USB-C connector for the corresponding port.
Lastly, I mention the fact that I did not encounter any compatibility issues when connecting to Bluetooth devices from other manufacturers, with which it works perfectly.
The mobile phone is a very good choice for the money it costs today. The Motorola Android is almost stock, so the processor and RAM work perfectly. I have done 2 Android updates from version 12 to 14 and 4 security updates. I have installed a lot of apps, updates, and settings. The battery lasts well for its 4 amps. It also charges extremely fast. The speakers are not the loudest I have heard, but they have a very good sound quality. The screen is very bright, even under the sun. The phone is not bulky and that is one of the main reasons I bought it. It is very lightweight and compact. The photos and videos are average, but not too bad. They are okay in good lighting. It has a function that produces ultra-res images, which is very helpful. It does not support 4k. It does not have a 3.5mm jack, but it supports Type-C headphones. It has a 5W wireless charging. In summary, it is a very good, fast, and compact phone that does exactly what its category defines. If you want large screens, demanding games, and you consider yourself a Spielberg, do not buy it. It handles everything else with ease. As for the SAR rating, what I read about high SAR does not apply. Anyone interested can visit Motorola/SAR and choose which phone they want to check. That's all for now. I won't write again for a month.
I have had the phone for 10 days. The positives have already been mentioned and I agree with most of them. As for the negatives, the camera (photos and videos) and the processor are not up to par for our modern needs (2024). The screen proportions are a bit unusual for a smartphone (narrow and long). It heats up very quickly and significantly (its own Motorola application showed 45 degrees), both when using it and when charging it (all this at an ambient temperature of 20 degrees). Lastly, it has a fairly high SAR value and that should be taken into consideration. I will give it 3 stars so as not to be unfair, as I consider it an average phone. However, I believe there are better options for the price of 180 that I bought it for.
I come to the Motorola 8Gb/256Gb after four years with a Nokia 7.0 4Gb/64Gb which I was particularly satisfied with (for the use I made of it) but now it was showing its age. I ended up with the Edge 30 neo after researching and following many reviews. I downloaded all the apps I had on my old phone (around 135) to the new one and the difference is huge. The speeds are excellent, the battery, although relatively small, holds up very well (about 1.5 days) but it charges incredibly fast so the battery issue doesn't bother me at all. It is very light, with convenient dimensions and very beautiful for my taste. It has been upgraded to Android 14. The only downside is the not very bright photos (in low light) which is compensated by the very good wide-angle and macro function. I consider that for the purchase price (just under 200€) it is a very good value for money mobile phone - always of course in relation to someone's requirements. I have been using it for about 1.5 months and my use is mainly calls, internet (quite a bit of use), and photos/videos
It comes with a charger, USB-C cable, headphones, and a case. I've had it for 4 days, on the first day I didn't let it out of my hands and the battery lasted all day. On the second day, with my usual usage, the battery lasted almost 2 days. Full charge in half an hour. Super screen, operating system, I customized it on the first day, I have used only 13% of the space. Camera completely satisfied with both photos and videos, performance definitely drops at night. I got it for 196 euros. Much better than my previous Samsung. Now I trust Motorola blindly. The only difficulty is finding a case and screen protector on the market.
Amazing phone in every sense of the word.
I have had it for 2 years and it is the best purchase I have made. Its price is now more affordable, but honestly its specifications are very good.
Very fast, it doesn't lag anywhere.
I use it for professional use and it has never let me down!
Browsing, YouTube, emails, Bluetooth headphones. I still use it for mirror-casting on the TV and everything works perfectly. The camera is okay, but come on guys... it's not a phone for YouTubers and Instagrammers.. It's a phone for serious people who want reliability in its use.
And the brand Motorola is aimed at well-known individuals.
It's not bulky but it has a large battery that lasts, and if you're worried because you've drained it, don't worry: you can charge it in half an hour (as long as it takes you to get ready to go out)!
The updates are frequent. Just today it upgraded to Android 14.
PUT A GOOD CASE ON IT AND IT WILL BE FINE.
If you treat it well and don't break it, you will see that it was the best phone you ever had.
After a year of use with drops, dirt, dust, moisture, and no screen protection, the mobile remains intact. The performance is excellent, the screen is excellent, calls are excellent, powerful speaker, stock Android, overall connectivity (5g, wifi, bluetooth) did not present any issues. The battery is more than sufficient and has not dropped at all. The nighttime photography is lacking, but personally, it doesn't matter to me. I will never again buy a rugged mobile and I am happy to have returned to Motorola.
Selected because of its size. Small phones are hard to find nowadays.
The device is truly excellent. No lag, thanks to stock Android, bright screen even under the sun, impressive camera that is enhanced by gcam, good and rich sound. The battery will last a day with relative ease, but if you need it, a few minutes are enough to charge it with the fast charger.
I chose this mobile phone, with the primary criterion being the size, because I wanted a small one compared to what is available on the market.
So far, I am very satisfied. It is fast, has good sound, and the camera is impressively good.
The battery lasts for about a day with regular use.
One very positive aspect is that it has turbo charging, which charges the phone in an amazingly short time.
It has many functions that you can find in much more expensive phones, and so far I haven't found any flaws.
It is a mobile phone that offers great value for money.
Well..... I made a mistake with the realme gt master edition 8/256 and I gave it away and got the redmi note 12 pro 8/256 (I had no complaints) and it was good for the 5000 battery.... it held the same.... But I was bothered by the size, it was excessively large for my work.... I searched and searched and finally found the 30 neo. again 8/256... Very good in hand, it is the ideal size for the hand, be careful it slips a lot. I am waiting for cases and accessories from abroad... Okay, it's only worth it for the size, nothing else... In everything else it falls far behind 2 previous phones I had... In camera speed etc... The battery is good, it lasts.... That's it
Good choice for purchase, the size surprises me, I consider it large unless the manufacturers only consider women who carry bags, for me it is bigger than the size of the iPhone 13 mini, which is 5.5 inches, it is completely unreasonable. The foldable ones are very expensive.
Purchased for my wife, due to the small screen size. It is a value-for-money mobile phone, for me who bought it for 240 euros. I don't think I would have paid 300. It is fast, it has good construction, no issues with network connections (Cosmote). Perhaps the only area where it lacks as a phone is the camera. For the same amount of money, you can find a better one (but not in this screen size).
The freebuds keep disconnecting constantly, and the most important thing is that they DO NOT HAVE INTERNET (data) when I'm talking.. never again Motorola
Received on 24/08/23 .. Chosen due to its size because the majority of smartphones are "slippers". The mobile phone is very good and meets all the requirements I have, both at work and in my personal life. Clean android without unnecessary applications, incredibly fast (due to 5G), very powerful in photos (for my needs), clear conversations in calls. It has not been tested in terms of games, music.
The battery is a big topic. With heavy usage, it drops to 50% after almost 10 hours of operation. Personally, I have no complaint about the battery because the 68W charger compensates me to the fullest by charging the device very quickly.
Overall, the small Motorola for my needs is amazing.
For anyone who doesn't want a "slipper" mobile, for me, it is the best choice.
I preferred it because it is small and lightweight.
I had a little issue with the slopes, but it was probably the network's fault.
Nice features for opening the lens and camera with mobile movements.
I chose it for its small size and battery life. It works great with applications and has a very clean Android system. The screen quality and fast charging are also major pros.
I wouldn't recommend it for those who mainly want to use it for videos and photos. I didn't use it for games at all, so I don't have an opinion on that.
Overall, it's a very good choice for those who know what they want from it.
It is a phone that is good in all areas. Convenient in hand, unlike the few that are no longer complete slippers, with the only negative being the small autonomy, of course, this is not such a big problem because it charges in 10 minutes! Also, it is good that it comes with a case and charger in the box, let's mention these things because Samsung and Apple are no longer obvious
Although I've only been using it for a few days, I am satisfied. It's quite fast and has a clean Android without unnecessary applications, etc. Fast charging and long battery life (> 1 day with sufficient use). You can see the other positives in the other reviews.
2. As for the negatives, I find the minimal case options, lack of memory card, and the fact that it would be more convenient if it were at least 2mm wider. Also, it's surprising that it connected immediately to HF but refuses to connect to the car.
The mobile phone is sweet! Despite my initial reservations, I bought the colorful one, it is iridescent and very beautiful! In a few words: It is for those who love small and lightweight mobiles! We would definitely like Snapdragon 775g to be more future-proof given its price, but even the 695 is great for simple use! Anyway, even regular users change their mobile every 2, 2 and a half years! So, the pros are the size (if you want it small), the weight, the screen, and the fast charging (with normal use, it lasts a whole 24 hours)!! I hope I helped!!
Edit 27/10/2023: The battery has been leaving me within the day for a long time... Luckily, it charges really fast... very fast!!
Edit 11/03/2024: The battery now drains very quickly! Also, due to more intense socializing and selling various items, I started using the camera systematically! Disappointment...! Both for the main camera and the selfie! - 1 star then! The good thing is that the device's price is now below 200 euros, so we are talking about an economical model with the corresponding requirements, of course!
Lightweight device, that's why I bought it, charges in 40 minutes. The battery has lasted for a day and a half (I'm not holding the phone all day). Depending on how you handle your phone, it suggests various shortcuts.
The sound is very good, loud.
Something that hasn't been mentioned is that it has a lighting effect (LED notification) on the back of the phone around the camera. The provided case is fine, it's not silicone, it's made of hard material. I will come back.
6-9-2023
The case is hard but luckily it has protected the phone from falls so far. It has fallen many times. Instead of a glass screen protector, I chose a silicone screen protector from a popular brand, it's a bit expensive but it protects the screen better than the glass protector.
I don't like the latest update at all... I'm waiting for the next one.
Facebook, YouTube, Google open all day, many open pages, I don't play games, I don't have an opinion.
It froze twice, but okay, what doesn't freeze? It unfroze and continued.
I don't like the pre-installed apps...
1. Photo editing
2. Recording. It doesn't record calls.
3. The calculator doesn't have extra functions like currency conversion.
(In my previous Xiaomi phone, the pre-installed apps were better)
But okay, you can download other apps of your liking.
I repeat, the main purchasing criterion was its weight.
Maybe reviews from other users will be more useful to you.
I am satisfied.

Unfortunately, the screen broke. I made the mistake of not getting a better case. The cost of screen replacement + labor is 130€
