Unfortunately, the game was not ready at release and came with technical problems that affected its performance. However, at the moment I am speaking, these issues have been resolved and the game runs smoothly. Now let me quickly tell you what I liked and what I didn't:
+ Handling, Physics. A significant improvement compared to previous Codemasters games.
+ Sound design. I wish all companies paid attention to how a car sounds. Some of the best sound effects we've ever heard in a game.
+ Historic Cars. Thankfully, they are included in the game, with plenty of historic cars from previous WRC generations.
+ No paid DLC! EA may be involved, but luckily, apart from the Season Pass skins, you don't have to pay for additional cars and tracks. Everything is included in the base game!
+ Perfect steering wheel controls.
+ The Moments game mode is simply the best. Each season offers something new to engage with, without the need to spend extra money.
+ There are many stages, and now they have a large extent! There are stages that are 35 kilometers long!
- Boring Career mode.
- Worse graphics than Dirt Rally 2, as they switched to Unreal Engine 5.
- It had significant stuttering issues, which have been fixed.
- The Season Pass is unnecessary. It may be good for some, but not for others.
- Poor Vehicle Customization in Career Mode.
- No VR support.
In the end, despite the stumbling blocks at release, this game is by far the best WRC we have received so far, and I'm glad Codemasters acquired the rights. At its current price of 30 euros, don't hesitate if you're a fan of the genre.

I am really amazed at how many things you can create in this game. For the first time, I feel like I am actually playing a career mode with the car exactly the way I want it. The gameplay is not perfect, but with a few updates, I believe it will improve. Even though I play without assists, it is more user-friendly compared to Dirt Rally 2.0. I think it is worth the money
The game was not ready to be released from the beginning. Well-known tricks of EA.. Apart from that, I believe that in the future, after many patches, it will improve. It still needs work.
For the price I got it at €30, it's worth it. If someone wants to wait, of course, I believe that in 2-3 years, a deluxe edition will be released with all the patches and DLCs.
It's a shame because Codemasters has the experience and unfortunately EA ruined it with its practices and half-done work.
I am one of those gamers who rarely give a low rating. The game has very nice graphics, beautiful sounds, and landscapes, but there are many bugs and for the skeptical ones, there is also the official EA site for bugs, see for yourselves, https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/wrc-bug-reports-en.
Also, this thing with the AI being unstable has become tiresome, in turns, you feel like the AI is running on train tracks while on straight lines, they leave you behind! Also, the controller handling is a big challenge! Until you find the right setup, you might get bored. The time distance between the controller and the steering wheel is light-years, it's not like in other games where there are a few seconds difference...
Let's hope they fix it immediately with an update, especially the controller handling. I feel like they need to add more sensitivity and response adjustment parameters.
I have played all the series, unacceptable they never fixed the game still have graphic problems
Although I was eagerly anticipating this year's release, as it was developed by Codemasters, whom I trust due to their exceptional F1 games, and EA. In the end, I was disappointed and I believe that the series took steps backwards instead of further improving. Many people may complain that games released every year are almost the same, but when there is progress, even if it is small, it is positive for me. In this particular case, it seemed as if there was inexperience and it was done hastily.
The graphics are of low quality, with framedrops and occasional glitches. The only positive aspect is the beautiful scenery.
The content does not give you enough motivation to engage with it, unlike the previous games. Despite having several modes and some new ones like "moments," the menu feels more empty and lacking.
The only thing that keeps the series alive and enjoyable is the gameplay. However, it is quite different, and I didn't like it at first because I couldn't get used to it. But later on, it became addictive and kept me engaged.
I hope that this was a lesson for them this year, so that they can gradually find their footing, improve their mistakes, and once again elevate the series. In the past few years, it has been getting better with each release, and I really liked everything from 7 onwards.
