I chose it because of the company I love but also because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I have not been satisfied at all as it creates white flakes when applied, as if it peels off. It spreads easily and dries quickly. However, when I try to apply a little more sunscreen to make sure it has been applied everywhere, it simply dissolves and many small particles are formed. Even if I touch my face with clean hands, particles are formed. I don't know what could be causing this, but I am disappointed. The moisturizer I use is from La Roche-Posay and I don't believe that is the cause and there is some reaction between the ingredients. My skin is combination.
The oil control is actually oily! Even though it says non-greasy, it is actually greasy! The only sure thing is that it is not suitable for oily skin from personal experience. For oily skin, the anti-shine works very well with a matte result
even though I have very oily skin and even though I have light skin, it leaves a white residue, it does not spread easily, it dries very quickly and makes my skin look pale and dry.
Overrated product, and I will never purchase it again
It doesn't stick, it doesn't leave any greasiness, it's like you're not wearing it. It protects satisfactorily. A big yes from me who wants a completely matte result.
I have been using it for years and it protects very well from the sun, leaving a matte finish. It has a subtle scent that is not bothersome. I don't change it.
Very good, I think that in combination with the cleansing and moisturizing products I use, it has significantly cleared my skin. It is not heavy, absorbs quickly, but it does clump a bit. The only negative! Otherwise, it works great for my combination skin.
I have been using the same sunscreen for about 2+ years now, and indeed, the formulation of the sunscreen has changed. However, for me, it is probably for the better. It no longer clumps up if I don't spread it quickly, which was an issue with the old formulation.
Pros:
- Absorbs quickly.
- I have sensitive skin, and it doesn't make my skin red after application like other sunscreens.
Cons:
- It is heavy, and although it doesn't make my skin oily, it definitely requires double cleansing with an oil cleanser, which I find tedious.
- It contains Alcohol Denat, which can cause dryness. It is understandable since it is mattifying, but there are doctors who say that regular exposure to alcohol on the skin can damage the skin barrier. Take that into consideration.
Personally, I will continue to recommend it because it is the only sunscreen that doesn't leave a shine, white cast, clumps, and it is matte.
Edit: After changing my moisturizer, it has started to clump up.
La Roche Posay disappointed me with this product!
After a short time, I was getting white spots and I didn't use it again!!! I preferred to buy the ummune 400 fluid, which is literally like water!
One of the best sun creams I have tried! I have struggled a lot with acne, and not this cream, not the other cream, none of them protect, the other one doesn't spread, the other one smells, etc... the Anthelios XL dry touch is amazing for the sun.
Initially, with dermatologist instructions, it should be reapplied every 3 hours, not only this specific one but every sunscreen, so don't expect full protection with just one application a day.
Of course, there have been times due to work that I couldn't reapply it and despite that, I didn't see any difference, I think it covered me for the whole eight hours that I didn't reapply it. However, one should not risk it, especially with severe acne.
Also, it has good absorption by the skin, at least mine, simply because it is slightly thick, dermatologist advice and it worked for me, a little moisturizer underneath, minimal to hydrate the skin and make it easy to apply.
When I had severe acne, I washed my face three times a day with the special soap from Frezyderm, the Active Foam, then I applied the Aquatic moisturizer also from Frezyderm, and finally the Anthelios sunscreen, and my skin was in very good condition despite the side effects of the pills. The sunscreen was my most saving choice as my skin was greatly affected by the sun and worsened, so I recommend it.
I definitely recommend first contacting a dermatologist as not all products are suitable for all skin types.
While the sample I tried from the pharmacy was excellent and every time I used it I had no problems, when I bought the regular size, I was completely disappointed. Obviously, the sample had the old formula. It sticks and shines a lot, and even though I didn't have any pimples, I broke out badly (internally, causing excessive pain). From me, it's a big NO.
Awesome product, with a wonderful scent and perfect texture, it spreads very easily without leaving any shine, fantastic, I highly recommend it!!!!
It was my favorite sunscreen for many years. The best for people with chronic acne, oily fair skin, and photosensitivity/photallergy, as well as in terms of texture, matte appearance, and effectiveness. Unfortunately, this year for some reason its composition has completely changed and it is a disappointingly different product that leaves a visually unpleasant intense shine as if you have been coated with oil, a pity.

I have been using it for 3 years and I was completely satisfied..no shine, immediate absorption and long-lasting..I bought it this year...and it's completely disappointing...no comparison to previous years...it leaves a lot of greasiness and it feels heavy on my face..notably, there hasn't been any change on my skin.

Negative:
- Contains fragrance, which is strong for me
- Leaves a strong shine on the face and resembles sweat, personally I didn't like it. It's like a mask, to the point where you see matte skin around the eyes and shiny in other areas.
- As I applied it, it tingled quite a bit on my cheeks, even though I don't have sensitive skin.
- When I touch my skin, it feels quite sticky/oily.
- Doesn't work as a makeup base.
I have combination to oily skin with a tendency for acne. Unfortunately, I wouldn't buy it again.
I have combination skin and it is the only one out of all the ones I have tried that leaves a light feeling.. it does not whiten the face, spreads easily, and truly leaves a matte result!!
I have oily skin prone to acne, and no matter what sunscreen I tried, it always left a greasy feeling and heavy sensation! This product absorbs very quickly and once absorbed, it leaves absolutely no greasy feeling or heavy sensation, it's like you're not wearing sunscreen at all! Recently, I went on a trip and spent the whole day outside in the sun, and under other circumstances, I would have gotten burned and turned bright red since I have very fair skin, but it protected me perfectly all day and I only applied it before going out, I didn't reapply throughout the day. I highly recommend it!
In general, it is a good sunscreen, heavy for my skin, and a bit difficult to spread, resulting in me feeling like I need more than 3 fingers to feel satisfied with the result. Lastly, I have the feeling that it causes more pimples for me

I have definitely been using it for 3-4 years and it was fine. I bought it again as my previous one ran out and I am disappointed. I immediately felt the difference, it is heavier, has a stronger scent, and takes a while to absorb. I don't understand why, even though this company sees that one of its products is doing well, it changes its formulation. It is most likely that I will not buy it again and try the sunscreen from Beauty of Joseon that I have heard good things about!
It provides perfect sun protection and did not cause any problems on my acne-prone skin. It is ideal for beach sunscreen, however, because I felt it was quite heavy, I would find it difficult to wear it under makeup. Ideally, it needs a lightweight moisturizer or serum underneath and quick application for optimal results.
I was not impressed with its texture, it is too greasy and did not sit well on my face. Also, its scent was very strong. It clumped when I tried to apply it on my face. I would not buy it again.
I buy it constantly. I have a very oily face (especially in the T-zone) and I use it many times in winter and summer as a base before my makeup. Personally, it has suited me perfectly!
I have combination skin, it feels heavy, does not spread easily, requires many quick movements, and in its ingredients it says it has silicone, which is why it stings when I touch my eyes and my pores close!
I have mixed feelings about this sunscreen.
On the positive side:

- It blends perfectly with makeup or powder.

On the negative side:
- It is not easy to spread.
- It leaves the skin very white.
The above negatives are especially true when you apply a lot of product, meaning the amount recommended by dermatologists.
While it is a very good product, it is thick and requires pulling the skin to spread it. However, if you use a small amount, it is more manageable. Despite this, I would repurchase it, I just wish it had a smoother texture.

I have oily skin and I am fully satisfied. It doesn't leave any specific feeling but it has a matte effect as it claims.
If you apply it in the morning, you'll need to reapply it in the afternoon, but that's how it is with most sunscreens anyway.

In leather with rosacea, it did an excellent job. First time coming back from vacation and not having the red "butterfly" on my nose-cheeks. Incredible duration and water resistance.
I bought it after a lot of searching on the internet because it claimed to be for oily skin like mine. In the end, the only good thing about it is its scent. Personally, it leaves a very heavy feeling on my skin and takes a long time to absorb. Additionally, it makes my skin even oilier than it was. I will not buy it again. Nivea's sunscreens that leave a matte finish are much better for oily skin and much cheaper.
