About a hundred years BC, all of Gaul is far from the control of the Romans. In the territories controlled by the Helvetii, a Roman legion is subjugated by the young warlord Divico, blessed by an ancient blessing brought to him from unknown places.

However, this victory came at a great cost, as soon the result of the warlord's agreement would turn into a curse, a constantly spreading decay that drags on the land and gradually corrupts his mind and heart.
