The subject of this volume is the reform of the state in the era of great challenges. Taking into account the rapid developments and new data that have emerged in the last two years, we are trying to contribute to the already extensive dialogue on the reform of the state - the "great patient" of our time - by formulating specific proposals for the necessary changes in both the political and administrative systems. These changes, which cover the entire spectrum of contemporary legal and political thinking, including the discussion that has already begun on the revision of the Constitution, we consider to be an urgent necessity, as the re-founding of the state, in all its manifestations, is an indispensable prerequisite generally for overcoming the structural crisis that has been plaguing the international and European reality in recent times, and specifically for initiating a new hopeful path for our country.
