UPDATE (11/2023):
I went through a heavy downpour and the rain didn't pass through, EXCEPT for the crotch area. Because the saddle and the rain were wet, the crotch was soaked. I don't think it's a flaw of this particular product but that all waterproof items have the same issue. I will try using a towel next time between me and the saddle.
-----------------
I tried it twice and didn't get wet. The rain was heavy, but not a flood.
I bought it for my city commutes, not as professional equipment.
The seams look good and it's a quality product.
I am about 1.72cm tall and usually wear MEDIUM in clothes (depending on the fit), and it fits me perfectly.
Dimensions of the MEDIUM (approximately):
Jacket: 75cm
Sleeve: 65cm
Pants: 110cm
I have it as a set for many years (5-6), having covered several thousand kilometers, (routes of 20-30km) from light rain to heavy rain. I have to say that not a single drop has passed through the jacket, while I changed the pants last year, noticing that the inner insulation had worn out, where it was folded from the waist, as well as in the crotch. The jacket (which I wrap up to store), after all these years, is still in perfect condition, and similarly, I now fold the pants and they look like new. If waterproofs are stored carelessly, it's probably not the quality's fault. Also, it was mentioned that there is moisture appearing in the pants. This has to do with the condensation of sweat on the inside. It has always happened to me as well, but because I wear it many times in very cold weather, every time I took it off, it was like it was wet, without any rain preceding it. That's it!
Very good product for its price. It has reinforcement on the saddle, lining on the collar for a warmer feeling, elastic on the pants cuffs to hold onto the shoes so that the pants don't rise up when sitting on the motorcycle, overall good fit and comfortable, also has a waterproof storage bag. I have bought 2 sets for myself and my wife for travel use. In 2 trips with heavy rain for 3 hours, we didn't have any problems.
I have been using it for the past 2 years every time it rains...
Personally, it has been very good for me...
Even in heavy rainfall, I have arrived at my destination completely dry...
The same goes for my husband, who has the exact same waterproof coat... everything is fine.
Good waterproof to wear when going to work with your motorcycle, in case you get caught in a storm and you're half an hour away from home on a Sunday ride... It's nice and at a good price. Message to delivery guys, stay away... It's not suitable for an 8-hour or longer work shift... It leaks water at the elbows, knees, and crotch from the first use, and I say this because we all bought the same thing on the same day from the store and we all had exactly the same results... Unfortunately, for delivery, you won't get by with just 50 euros... You need double or triple the money at least
I have had it for about a year, if I remember correctly. Maybe a year and a half. I have worn it very few times. It has some tears on the sleeves at the height of the arm. And in some places, it has ripped in various spots and leaks water! Very poor material!!! Dry! Stay away!!! One that I had bought once for 10 euros is much better! And I still have it!
The first three months it was good for 1 hour of rain. After that, it wasn't even good for glass. And as my grandfather used to say, cheapness eats away quality.
I have it for almost 9 months and the jacket has broken.
It's like I'm not wearing anything.
Extremely expensive for its construction quality.
For the money, it's worth it, but don't expect to come home dry after a day full of rain like you went in. On the first day, it might be fine if it's just a light rain, but if it's pouring all day or on the second day, the pants will have moisture inside, resulting in your pants being "sweaty," while the jacket does its job. The pockets are not waterproof, but from the inside, they are sealed where there is a seam and no droplets pass through. Also, the pants have a pocket with a zipper at the bottom, along with an elastic band to pass it under the foot so it doesn't rise, and between the legs, there is reinforcement to prevent water from entering when water collects on the saddle... and the jacket, after 3 hours of continuous heavy rain, I was "sweaty" inside, but not too much. For the money, the set is worth it, it does the job. I am a delivery person and it saved me, and I have friends who have had it for a year and say the same things.
Wasted money, you become more sweaty when wearing it
For heavy rain it is good if it rains a lot and for a long time the pants leak.
