The best choice for surround sound if you are already in the Sonos ecosystem. Especially in Dolby Atmos and spatial audio, the biggest difference is noticeable. I was impressed by the sound quality even as stereo. The annoying thing about this is that you have to take them out of the setup as surround and set them up as stereo on their own. I hope with a future upgrade the process will be easier. Otherwise, although expensive, it is top quality just like Sonos itself.
I replaced the Sonos One that I had as surrounds in the set-up (arc + sub gen 3). It may be overkill, but the difference is noticeable both in atmos and in 5.1 content. You feel more immersed in sound as you watch content.
