Within two weeks of continuous summer use in a vacation house (use on the beach, outdoor shower, and throughout the rest of the day both inside and outside the house), they smell so bad that they are for throwing away. Nice to look at, but only for display.
My previous flip flops were from the brand Columbia, I wore them for years (until the strap broke) and they never smelled.
