one of the best EDC flashlights I've had. Due to its shape and size, you can easily fit it in a pocket with casual clothes, it is powerful and you have full knowledge of the remaining battery.
Because we are talking about Nitecore, this flashlight was simply a failure.
Perfect shape.... but a big issue with the buttons. Less than a year of use and the main button doesn't work properly.
A big and serious problem if you make the mistake of putting it somewhere without locking it. I have damaged bags and uniforms because I forgot to lock it and it turned on. It accidentally turned on and anything it touched in front of it got burned.
It's a shame for Nitecore.
This is the tenth Nitecore and I do not recommend it as a backup or even a spare
This specific flashlight is amazing and worth its money. Let's analyze the positives a bit. First of all, it has two very powerful LED lights with a total power of 3,000 lumens. This flashlight is a floodlight, meaning it spreads the light instead of focusing it, yet it reaches a beam distance of almost 250 meters. Its battery is 1,700 mAh and lasts for: 15 lumens for 37 hours, 65 lumens for 12 hours, 200 lumens for four hours, and 1,000 lumens for one hour and 37 minutes. The turbo mode, which is 3,000 lumens, lasts for 15 seconds when the button is pressed and then drops to a thousand lumens due to increased temperature. Its construction is very good, with a stainless steel body, and it is resistant to falls from one meter and water-resistant but not waterproof. It charges with a USB type-C.
Regarding the flashlight's UI, it has two buttons at the back, both of which have two positions: halfway and fully pressed. One button is the on-off switch. If you press it fully, and if you press it halfway, it changes the brightness level. The brightness levels are four: 15, 65, 200, and 1,000 lumens. The second button is the mode button, and it has two levels. If you press it halfway, it enters turbo mode with 3,000 lumens, and if you press it fully, it enters strobe mode with 3,000 lumens. There is also a lock function for the buttons, where you can lock either both buttons or just the on-off switch, while the mode button operates normally for turbo and strobe modes.
