BIOS Update via Software
Switch from OC BIOS mode to secondary mode or back using TriXX software for quick and easy switching between the two BIOS modes.
Vapor-X Cooling
The vapor chamber is in contact with the surface of the main chip and memory. Since the entire area transfers heat at the same rate, the Vapor-X unit is designed to operate more efficiently than a copper heatsink in heat transfer. By acquiring heat, the heat source is pushed towards the Vaporization Wicks to start the heat dissipation process.
Cooling Design
The WAVE fin design reduces friction when wind enters the fin module, resulting in reduced wind noise.
The V-shaped fin design on top of the GPU accelerates and concentrates airflow around the GPU for efficient heat dissipation.
The cast aluminum-magnesium alloy frame that surrounds the sides of the PCB board helps to enhance the structural rigidity of the cover to create a strong, scratch-resistant, and high-quality finish that upgrades the aesthetics and strength of the graphics card.
Covering the entire PCB board, the cast Frontplate heatsink cools the VRM, memory, and Chokes resulting in superior heat dissipation for top airflow and cooling performance.
Digital Power Design
The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 Series is designed with digital power, which provides precise power control and exceptional power efficiency.
Aluminum Polymer Capacitor
The high-performance conductive polymer aluminum capacitor has a small footprint on the PCB, but a high volumetric capacity that makes it possible to power 20 phases on the RX 7900 series graphics card.
The capacitor offers stable capacitance at high frequency and temperature with very low signal noise, ensuring the stability and reliability of the product.
PCB with high TG copper
The graphics card is mounted on a high-density 14-layer 2oz copper and high TG PCB to match the rapid speed, high current, and increased power demand of the GPU and memory, ensuring high PCB stability during operation.
Durable Metal Backplate
The aluminum backplate provides additional rigidity ensuring that nothing will bend and dust will stay out. It also helps in cooling your card by increasing heat dissipation.
Exclusive VRM Cooling
VRM cooling unit for optimal heat dissipation for maximum airflow and cooling performance.
Fan Blade Angular Velocity
The angled speed fan blade provides a double layer of downward air pressure, which, along with the air pressure on the outer ring of the axial fan, results in up to 44% greater downward air pressure and up to 19% greater airflow for quieter and cooler operation compared to previous generations.
Composite heat pipe
The composite heat pipes are meticulously tuned for each individual cooling design with optimal heat flow, effectively and evenly distributing heat across the entire cooling unit.
Auxiliary fan control system
When the temperature of the card increases, the fans accelerate accordingly. To further assist in cooling and heat dissipation, the Assistive System Fan Control feature in SAPPHIRE's TriXX software controls the speed of a system fan to automatically increase simultaneously with the graphics card fans, helping to expel the heated air from the entire system more quickly.
PCI-E Protection Guard
For the protection of your card, SAPPHIRE cards feature built-in fuses in the circuit of the external PCI-E power connector for component safety.
Dual BIOS
Choose between OC BIOS or secondary mode to enhance your gaming experience.
Comes with a graphics card support to keep the graphics card in place in the PCIe slot.
Dual ARGB Light Bar
With a cover design enhanced by ARGB LEDs, you can change the colors of the LEDs for a personalized design. This can be controlled through the TriXX software. Choose from different modes, such as fan speed mode, PCB temperature mode, or the multicolor rainbow mode, or turn off the LED lights.
External ARGB Control Synchronization
Enable external synchronization of the RGB LED between the graphics card and the motherboard using the 3-pin. Gamers can then choose whether the graphics card performs the RGB LED effects independently or if the motherboard takes control.
Quick fan connection
If there is a problem with the fan, you do not need to return the entire card. SAPPHIRE or our partners will send you a replacement fan directly to you! This means that they are easy to remove, clean, and replace, with only one screw securely holding them in place.
Dual Ball Bearing
They feature Dual Ball bearing fans, which have approximately 85% longer lifespan than common bearings. The improvements in the fan blades mean that cooling is up to 10% quieter than the previous generation.
Tri-X Cooling Technology
An innovative blend of Robust VRM Cooling and independent memory thermal units work together for effective and efficient heat dissipation across all components.
Tunnel fins increase convective airflow and ensure continuous air flow through the cooling system and fan.
Heat is expelled by three large fans that operate counterclockwise to maximize air flow.

Excellent card with amazing gaming performance. Coming from the distant GTX 1080, the difference is obviously huge. After all, we are talking about a 7-year difference in versions.
It can easily handle QHD gaming in all titles with a good number of FPS, especially if you have High Refresh Rate Monitors. Its performance on 4K Monitors is also very impressive.
When combined with a modern processor, it can offer maximum performance, especially in HD and QHD. In 4K, due to the need for more resources from the card, there won't be any noticeable bottleneck if you have an older but decent processor.
The choice of this card over the RTX 4070ti Super was made considering the higher memory capacity (16GB vs 20GB) for future situations, its use solely for gaming and not for editing, and its power in RAW situations rather than Ray Tracing, where NVIDIA is clearly ahead in most cases.
Also, I wanted to switch to an AMD environment for GPUs, as I have always had NVIDIA cards. I haven't encountered any driver issues or any problems that require debugging in the almost month that I have been using it, just like with NVIDIA cards all these years.
Finally, its performance in terms of temperatures is excellent. Even under full load, it rarely reaches 70 degrees Celsius, without needing to adjust the fan curves and keeping the default settings.
Overall, I am fully satisfied with this particular version of the card and with this AMD model. It is a card that will stay in my PC for years, just like my old one.
Tip:
"If you also have an AMD CPU, it is necessary to update the chipset drivers to avoid any issues. This is also the reason why many people sometimes use older drivers to make their system stable."
The card is literally like a brick. Incredible performance with 3-digit fps at 4k all ultra. With safe undervolting and oc and appropriate settings it reaches xtx in performance. Well done amd
Kids everything is fine with the card and it's worth the money the only issue it has is when you connect a relatively high resolution 144hz monitor for example it has high power consumption and temperature when you work on zero rpm which is default in adrenaline at idle it works the vram at full without the pc doing anything this so far is not fixed with new drivers from amd just by searching on the internet I found that there is a way to manually fix it by lowering the resolution to 60hz for example in the win 10 settings in my case and this solution worked there is also another solution that worked as well by entering amd adrenaline in the monitor settings and I set my monitor from 144hz to 142 or 143hz this worked for me as well I found this by searching for 10 minutes on the internet there is also a third way by downloading a program that fixes the resolution which is more complicated I didn't try it so it's worth dealing with for some reason the card doesn't like certain screen resolutions like 144hz I think from amd because they know the problem with some future driver to fix it automatically according to amd this is done with the vram for compatibility issues to avoid black screens. I have 2 monitors connected to the card, the g5 samsung 144hz 2k and an lg 75hz hope I helped!
In a 4K monitor at 144hz, it plays most titles on ultra without difficulty. I have it paired with a 5600X (overclocked) and it doesn't bottleneck (although I would recommend a more powerful CPU). Good temperatures, although it's not silent, it's not noisy either. It's huge in size, so be careful with the size of your case. The driver installation is easy with many options in the menu. Perhaps the best GPU choice if you want to play in 4K without the price going over 900-1000€. With 20GB of VRAM, it has nothing to envy from Nvidia's giants (4080-4090) in gaming. I recommend this specific 7900XT as it is the best implementation of the series!
Unbelievable upgrade from the 2060. Excellent build quality, good temperatures with undervolting, and the power consumption is good. Completely satisfied for 1.5 months now, will update if anything comes up.
I am satisfied with the performance of the card to some extent. Its graphics drivers are not stable and will cause you problems sooner or later. Another very important observation. If you have aspirations for streaming, don't even think about it and get Nvidia. For your mental health, please seriously consider this advice. The AMD HW264 video encoder is laughable at best.
Excellent quality from every aspect. I highly recommend it unless you are not interested in RayTracing. However, be aware that even though it is the best implementation of the 7900xt by Sapphire, its size due to the heat pipes is simply enormous. It is literally a brick. Regarding the bracket that holds it, it is also very heavy, it is quite mediocre and I would suggest getting a different one if you have the opportunity. It has multiple functions that others will explain better than me, just to give you a general idea, it is currently the "3rd best graphics card in the world, always in reference to the average user who wants to play their games in 4K with everything maxed out and also great for editing programs like Photoshop, etc." Better than the 4070ti, worse than the 4080 (personal opinion). If you have the money and are considering it, this one is the way to go.
I use it for gaming, very good temperatures and normal noise. I come from Nvidia and the 3060 12GB, so the difference was huge even though I had concerns about switching to AMD, but based on the selling price, I considered that the 4070ti was not worth it. Very satisfied with the purchase, definitely worth it.
Amazing card, I saw a significant difference compared to the 6800 XT I had, and overall, after overclocking, it performs 40-50% better, and some games even more, for example, Dead Space Remake (120 FPS), Cyberpunk (120 FPS), RE 4 Remake (260 FPS), Dead Island 2 (200 FPS), Hogwarts Legacy (120 FPS), and many more. With FSR 3, simply double those numbers.
Temperatures are very good with 405+ Watts (I've seen it go up to 592W momentarily), especially considering the summer with room temperature at 28C+. I saw a maximum of 74C globally with a hotspot of 92C with fans at 50%.
There is no coil whine, and the card is very quiet. You have to go above 2500 rpm to actually hear it.
I leave the final overclocking settings in the photo, it's incredibly stable and can handle everything at maximum with my 4K OLED monitor.
I have seen clocks at a stable 2950+ with occasional peaks up to around 3200+.
With the overclock, it gained about 16%+ more performance, surpassing the 7900 XTX, which is around 250-350+ euros more expensive, and it is also about 5-10% faster than the 4080, which is around 350-450+ euros more expensive. I won't even discuss the 4070ti, with a difference of 100-200+ euros for the respective top-end models and losing 25%+ in performance.
For those who want lower temperatures and less power consumption, I also raised the UC profile. You will only lose 8-12% in performance, but with a room temperature of 26C+, it reached 62C globally with a maximum hotspot of 74C at 314W.
The metal construction is unique compared to other cards.
It's my first time with Sapphire, and I'm quite impressed.
At the price of around 870 euros that I bought it, it's definitely worth it.
Very complete card from the best graphics card company, after EVGA's departure.
This one has a max of 70-72 degrees core, 80-83 junction (hotspot) at 350W load and 1400RPM on the fans... With air conditioning in the room, it drops 3-4 degrees... With a modified fan profile, an extra 3-4 degrees down, but more noise... In short, impeccable temperatures, no issues.
It comes with a factory OC of about 10%, boosts on its own to 2800-2850 MHz core and reaches performance levels of 4080 (+/- 5%) depending on the game of course and the system you have. Strangely, while I expected coil whine due to the high consumption, it has almost none... Possibly if you choose a cheaper model, it may have coil whine... The Nitro series is high end, so possibly more refined than the cheaper ones.
I bought it after 5 years of Nvidia in a row, afraid of possible problems, so far I have had it for 3 months and I haven't seen a single bug. UPDATE 9/5/2024: Now we have reached 1 year, about 20 different drivers since then and still not a single issue.
Also, a positive aspect is that AMD's adrenaline software is clearly superior to Nvidia's outdated Geforce Experience.
