I have the base game and 3 expansions. We have been playing with friends for 3 years now. By far the best board game I have played since chess (which is, of course, a card game).
I played this game for many years with friends (it could be called the battle of settlers), and I decided to add it to my collection as I didn't have it. It's worth it with friends and with the expansion, in the basic version with four players, there can be 1 or even 2 players who can get trapped and be extras at some point (it all depends on the initial setup and the first choices for the two settlements). Nevertheless, it is an excellent board game that should not be missed. It combines many ways to win and many choices to reach the final goal. Maybe it will seem difficult at first or that it has many rules, but after 2-3 games, it will start to flow faster and more pleasantly. It's worth it!
Excellent game. I had played it several years ago and I wanted to buy it ever since. Finally, the moment arrived, but I couldn't remember after so many years how to play it. The first game requires patience and step-by-step following the instructions until you understand what you need to do and how. However, afterwards, it flows very smoothly and entertainingly. I loved Kaisa from the first moment for the way she chooses to package her products. Everything in the box has its place and it is set up and organized very easily.
A game that will keep the group entertained for endless hours and rounds, due to the mix of randomness and strategy throughout.

Incredible game for all ages, genders, and quite easy to learn. I discovered it 3 months ago and since then, there have been only 2-3 days when I haven't played it.

For those who want to give it as a gift, it is a perfect present, but you need to explain it as simply as possible so that the young ones won't be scared off by the many rules. It becomes very simple from the second game onwards, if they learn it with open cards the first time and if you give them strategic tips in the following games.
Excellent game for a group that allows everyone to develop their own strategy. It's not always the same as you can change the main board. The only downside is that it cannot be played by 2 people. It requires at least 3. Get it, you won't regret it!
It is a very nice game, somewhat reminiscent of a mix of 'Monopoly' with the resources of 'Ticket To Ride' and the concept of the cards needed to build, as well as some extra game cards. Exchanging resources to build, etc.
You assemble the board in a different way each time if you want (it's like a puzzle of hexagons) to keep the game from getting boring and to develop new strategies.
It lasts quite a while as a game, I think at least an hour.
The rules are detailed (and extensive) at first, which can be a bit tiring because there are quite a few, but afterwards, when you learn them, the game is not difficult.
Pros:

+ There are expansions available if you want to add more players. (I haven't bought any yet, so I don't know how they are)
+ In addition to the rules, it also has an 'Index' that keeps all the important information summarized, so you can refer to it if you get stuck at the beginning.
Cons:
- Quite a few rules at the beginning that may become tiresome.
- Only plays up to 4 players, so if you have a big group, 5 or 6, you will want an expansion.
Amazing game!! It can be played by up to 4 people. 4 people is the ideal number! It's a strategy game!!! There is also an element of luck, of course, but it is still very strategic and competitive. The rules are very easy to learn. Buy it.
(+++) One of our favorite games! We had bought the children's Katán and it was perfect for preparation. We play with the two older ones (7 and 9 years old) without any problem! Nice strategy game, very well-known with many expansions, which make it a bit more complex. A very worthwhile way to spend your time creatively.
I would say that, along with "Castles of Mystras", they take the place of "Monopoly" and "Battleship" in the 21st century!

The game doesn't exist!!!!! It's an incredibly fantastic addiction!!!! A strategy game that is definitely worth 100% of its money, obviously very high quality!! If you also add the expansion with the seafarers, it becomes even more addictive!!!!!!
There is no better board game really. It is also fast like a game (in one night we play 3-4 games) while with Monopoly you will play 1 game and that's it if it ends (5 out of 10 times Monopoly is not completed) the only downside is that it is played up to 4 people so it is not for larger groups

We ordered the game in the midst of quarantine. We play it as a family with the youngest being 8.5 years old. The rules are generally simple and can be learned after 2-3 rounds, which usually last about 2 hours. It's really nice that after the classic game, there are many combinations that arise from the placement of the cards, so you don't get bored. Of course, I would like to try some expansions as well.

The 10 points needed to finish the game are too many. It takes too long to finish (about 2 hours). Some variation should be found so that points can be completed faster. For example, building cities faster, earning half a point with each road, development cards giving points more easily, etc.
