Family law is pure civil law and is subject to the doctrine of the latter. Its peculiarities, not as many as sometimes claimed, do not alter its nature, they simply justify interpretive adjustments. Thus, in this work, special emphasis has been placed on preserving the strictly legal character of the subject matter of family law.
The fourth edition has been fully revised and updated, taking into account all legislative changes, recent case law, and theoretical views. All issues of family law are thoroughly analyzed and solutions are provided for interpretive problems faced by legal practitioners.
