The kettle is awesome!!!
The 800 ml boils water in about 1 to 1.5 minutes at most...
It has a large capacity...
Maybe some people may not like the lid, because it is not on top of the kettle, you screw it on but it doesn't bother me.
I will come back in a little while to tell you about the salts...
Unfortunately, in less than six months and with minimal use, the coating broke and an entire piece came off! The only thing I had done was to boil a little vinegar with water to remove the salts. I didn't think to take a photo and I threw it away! Because I had and still have many Bosch devices, I didn't expect something like this to happen so soon! I am completely disappointed!
I give it 2 stars because the lid is screw-on, something I didn't understand from the beginning. If I were to buy again, I would choose a kettle whose lid opens with a button
It's great for its price, it boils quickly and shuts off when it reaches boiling point. So far, it hasn't collected any water residue and I always dry it afterwards
An important drawback is that the lid must be removed completely to add water. It does not have a button that simply lifts the lid...
Also, the kettle wobbles, as if its base is not stable... For these 2 reasons, I give it 3 stars.
Note that my previous kettle, a Bosch, did not have these issues.
In about 3 months, the lid closed and wouldn't open anymore. I thought about leaving it like that (since it still worked), but there was a component inside that was making noise. With some effort, I managed to open it (with damage, of course), but in a few days it completely stopped working. The very cheap one I had before worked for 3 years without any issues!
It's great. We had a stainless steel one that broke, and this one is even better and doesn't get as dirty as the stainless steel one.
The only kettle of mine that withstands and continues to function for over 3 years, I have it since 2020.
I got it for the office so it doesn't have much use (I boil 1 cup a day) but it does its job well and so far it hasn't caught any limescale.
Boils water very quickly - does not leave any residue. Extremely convenient & practical as it does not take up much space on the kitchen counter
I purchased the kettle two years ago and couldn’t be happier. I use it on an almost daily basis and it works like the very first day. Even though I am not a big fan of its design it is durable, boils water quickly and the plastic handle does not heat up at all. All in all an excellent value for money purchase.
What didn't work for me is that the lid comes off completely and it's not with a button. It's not even easy to put it back on every time. Also, the boiling doesn't start automatically if you take it off and put it back on the base, and you have to press the button again. Other than that, it's reliable
4 years of daily use and it performs just as well. Fast, beautiful, durable kettle, with very good build quality.
Perfect! It turns off by itself. It is very fast, and I have noticed it because I always put at least 1 liter of water. It is worth its money.
The kettle has only one flaw. It is tall, resulting in it not turning off quickly when it reaches temperature because it has a distance from the sensor, probably. It gives you the feeling that it won't turn off, but it does, it just takes a while
Very good purchase. It does its job quickly and does not catch salts. Of course, if you leave the water inside for a day or more, it will catch salts.
One of the best choices someone has for home/work! Fast and efficient. Bosch quality, evident from miles away. Purchased on 13/05.
Perfect for the money
Does not smell like plastic
The lid comes off and it is more convenient if you have a low faucet
It does not need to be in place (the lid) to boil water
One liter boils in about 2.30 minutes
Reliable due to the brand, although it looks cheaply made, it is reliable. The company, in order to save money, makes savings, for example, in the way it opens, where the lid is screwed on and not spring-loaded, although it opens easily at least at first. Also, the Bisch logo looks like it was written with a marker, nevertheless, the plastic is of good quality. Additionally, it has good interior lining. Overall, it is worth its money and the name Bisch has credibility.
For now, it is an excellent kettle. I haven't had it for long, but the water really boils in 3-4 minutes. The first time it takes 2 times to boil, adding vinegar in the second time to sterilize it. After that, you use it normally. Very good construction, it also has a small filter. I recommend it!!
I returned after about 1.30 month of use. I am very satisfied!!!
For its price, it is fine, it does what it is supposed to do. It holds salts within normal ranges, like all kettles
Everything is perfect, it has a slight delay in boiling water but we're talking about a few seconds more compared to one I had bought from Lidl that boiled water in 5 seconds but looked like a saucepan. This is also aesthetically beautiful in your kitchen
I chose it mainly for the Bosch name. It could have better construction, but for its price, I find it decent. One flaw I find with it is that the water boils for quite some time before it shuts off, which I consider somewhat dangerous if it is next to the socket.
After 1.5 years, the filter for salt came off and broke, and for the past 5 months, the switch has been lighting up in a specific position, it turns off if it moves a little. I need to get another one and definitely not BOSCH.
Flawless. It didn't disappoint me in any way and I use it daily with my baby's milk. It collects salts to a very normal extent and with a boiling of water with white vinegar, they immediately disappear.
I bought it in 2017... After 6 years - it continues to impress me. Very reliable - although I would like it to boil water faster. 5 stars because it made me look good.
I recently bought it, so far the only negative thing is that it doesn't help you describe it as quiet...
The water takes a long time to boil until the switch falls, wasting expensive electricity, and you never find out how the lid attaches
I am not easily impressed by kettles. What interests me is for it to last more than 3 years. I only boil water, which I use for noodles, heating water for cooking pots, and chai. I don't leave it plugged in when it's turned off and I don't use chemicals for descaling. So far, after 6 months of use every other day, everything is good. I take care of it and respect it, I'm not rough with objects.
Good but the lid is a hassle because it is screw-on and not practical at all. However, it is a kettle that I would like to have at a lower price.
In this price range, it is one of the top choices. I replaced an izzy that I had and I can say that this one excels in design, material quality, and ergonomics. Some positives that I found:
1. The handle is designed in such a way that it does not transfer heat either when holding it or when serving the water.
2. The weight is low and you don't feel it even when the kettle is full.
3. No drops fall from the spout after serving.
Great value for money for a device with the Bosch signature. Recommended.
The positives have been mentioned many times. One thing that bothered me is that it takes a while to close on its own, while in previous ones I had, they closed with the first boil, this one takes over 5 seconds to boil. It's not tragic, but it's not the best for the steam that is created. Another thing that also puzzled me is that even though I chose it for its complete opening on the lid, something I hadn't had before, it still makes it a bit difficult for me to close it even though "my hands can handle it". Therefore, based on the second issue, I recommend it with reservation for older ages.
