The only good thing is its battery and that it has fallen several times and nothing happened to it.. photos are terrible... they lack color, are not vibrant, and are of poor quality. Videos, especially if I shoot on Messenger, are blurry; I don't know why.. the video gets blurry. It freezes quite a bit... I give it two stars for its battery, it is a beast
One of the best phones I have ever bought.
With a huge battery life and quite fast.
The only downside is the camera quality, but for someone who doesn't take many photos, it's worth it.
The quality of the plastics is very good
I will immediately say my bad experiences as a little above the requirements of the average mobile user:
- bad intense lighting, if it has the sun of Greece you can't distinguish information well
- the plastic covers of the speakers and usb-c are held by some plastic tubes that simply break after 100+ uses of the headphones (in case the cover is lost, the water protection is lost)
- faulty software (it goes crazy at random times recognizing fingerprints, automatically to fix it the phone opens and closes but does not fix it, so manual deactivation/activation is needed)
- on the 3rd day the screen broke due to my bad use, it was fixed for 80 euros, but there was no spare parts in stock and it took 3 months of waiting due to customs. However, the screen was not properly glued by the dealership and came off with a simple tap from the back
- I glued the screen and eventually, after 9 months of use, the phone fell from a height of 30 centimeters and the entire screen shattered again
- the brightness sensor (in front of the phone) goes crazy several times and requires special behavior until it calms down
Quite a good mobile phone. I dropped it and accidentally stepped on the screen.... It didn't suffer the slightest damage!!!
The only downside is its weight, 358.2 gr!!!!
The radio doesn't pick up anything except the basics and not always. When the screen tilts from the monitor and you can't close it or end the tilt, it's not worth even half the money. The review is about the quad-core Armor14pro
The mobile phone is a tank on its own. I have had many mobile phones and brands (Samsung, Apple) and smaller brands (Vivo), but this particular mobile phone is a beast in every sense of the word. Its battery easily lasts for 2 days with full usage, and if you don't use it much, you might even forget to charge it. It is very useful, it just takes a little time to get used to it (1-3 days). It is also durable, as it has fallen multiple times and still works perfectly. The only downside for its price of €177 is that it doesn't have a good camera, but it is satisfactory considering the price.
I have chosen as a user the rugged category and there is no way I can go back to the regular category for this particular model. I just want to say that it is worth every last euro. I bought it for 180 euros with shipping, while its final price is 260 euros. It is incredibly fast, with a powerful battery. As a current owner of a Blackview in the regular version with 32GB ROM, model BV 4900, it is obvious that its capabilities are far superior. It is simply a mobile computer that can handle games with ease. For simple uses like music, videos, etc., it has them just for fun. Truly, you can make such purchases with your eyes closed. As for the sound intensity, its capabilities are terrifying
Battery dog, I work 13-14 with open applications, music etc etc, for durability, it has fallen from a motorcycle with about 80 kilometers, from the third floor of an apartment building, it has fallen from tables, it has been run over by a car and it has not suffered ANYTHING, that's why you get this mobile and it does what it promises, now the camera will give it a 7/10 there are better ones (for its price it's fine), call speaker 10/10 crystal clear, listening speaker 5/10 for music a bit bad but again it's not the main selling point of this mobile. Overall opinion for someone who is careless, works many hours and wants a mobile that lasts 1-2 consecutive days and withstands water, dust and mishandling, it's a very good choice
Really a sturdy and heavy mobile phone with a powerful battery. It has fallen from my hands several times and nothing has happened to it. Sometimes I have accidentally wet it, personally I do not intend to put it in water, and it continues to work and function normally.
Very convenient that the bottom right corner has a wristband slot and I can hang it.
3 hours of charging, sometimes a little more to fully charge the battery. I must admit I am surprised, it comfortably lasts two days with enough usage.
Bulky for transportation.... but with a large readable screen.
So far it does not freeze, I have been using it for more than 14 months.
It has covered my needs.
4 stars because the sim tray has only 2 slots, meaning only for 2 sims without memory expansion OR one sim and a memory card, like I have it. It could have had 2 sim slots along with a memory card from the construction, this disappoints me a little.
It is a value for money compared to other well-known companies that produce durable mobile phones.
After years of use, I am satisfied.
It is definitely heavy to hold it to your ear for a long time to talk, resulting in fatigue. This can be corrected with headphones and open conversation.
Visually it is not very attractive, but let's not forget that it is literally a durable mobile phone.
It has fallen from different heights several times and has no scratches. I often put it in water to clean it.
After getting wet, the speakers do not sound clear for several minutes, but once it dries, everything is fine.
The battery that lasted 3 days with full use and games is worth every penny..... Very good phone in this category, a bit heavy due to the battery, waterproof, very powerful speaker, photos are not the best but decent, ulefone could have given something more, but what really disappointed me is the graphics card, which falls behind and doesn't give you the appropriate results..... Ulefone.... Give it something more in terms of processor and card.... Otherwise, it's worth the money
The selling point of the mobile phone is its huge battery and its durability.
Good construction,
beautiful phone,
sturdy,
battery that lasts a week (without games),
nothing happens to it,
fast fingerprint recognition and face recognition,
OTG function to charge other devices with it,
high screen brightness (usually I have it below the middle),
fast processor,
doesn't freeze,
128 GB memory with expandable up to 1 TB (a 512 GB card costs around 60-70 euros),
Android 12,
powerful speaker,
NFC for payments.
Mid-range outdoor mobile with many capabilities, rugged of course, and that's where all the magic is.
Since I bought my first rugged smartphone, I think it's impossible to go back to the previous situation.
Before, there was a constant anxiety for the phone user, don't do this, don't do that, don't drop it, don't get it wet, don't put it there, don't touch it elsewhere, don't leave it in the sand...
Finally. It falls and you just pick it up. It gets wet and you just wipe it on your jeans before putting it in your back pocket. You go back home and wash it under the faucet.
All my previous phones/tablets broke or got damaged.
Since I bought the first Cat S42 2 years ago, I only buy rugged ones now, one main phone, one for my wife, one tablet...
Rest assured, I am no longer a slave to my phone or its charger.
In front of these, I can sacrifice fewer megapixels in the camera, 4K screen.
It doesn't need a case, but because it's heavy and doesn't have a good grip, get it a good Ringke strap for extra security.
As for the money, I will say that it seems a bit expensive at 300 euros.
I pre-ordered it from Ulefone on sale for a few days at 180 euros (with Eu priority shipping 195).
At 300, you might want to look at other brands like Blackview or Oukitel.
But what is certain is that Ulefone is a good company and produces phones without problems.
