With so many health sensors, it should also have a blood pressure monitor. That's why I deduct one star. Otherwise, very satisfied. Owner for over 1 month
It is comfortable in the hand. It also seems to be of good construction and durability. In general, it is what I expected. Although I have it for a few days, the battery seems to last quite a bit. I do not have an opinion yet on its measurements. Coming from Garmin Fenix 5x, it is definitely different but I like that it is lighter, fits better on the wrist, and its screen is quite bright. The photos show the same watch face, the first one is when the watch is on standby and you have selected always on the screen, while the second one is when you look at the watch. Now in terms of durability, time will tell. For its price, it seems to be a fair choice.
Very nice men's watch, fits well on the wrist and its screen is very clear. Its battery lasts around 14 days depending on usage. Definitely needs a glass for scratch avoidance, I ordered them together. It is value for money and overall I am very satisfied.
I had the T Rex, the first one, and I was satisfied with the watch, but suddenly the battery died. I spoke with customer service to pay (out of warranty) to change the battery, but they told me that the battery cannot be changed and if it was within warranty, they would give me another watch. I spoke with some stores to see if they could change the battery for me, but they couldn't. A friend of mine had the T Rex Pro and he also threw it away, and it broke faster than mine. I don't think it has changed with the T Rex 2, so keep in mind that it is a watch with an expiration date.
Well guys, I have had the watch for a little over 4 months and I have to say that I am absolutely satisfied. Quite accurate measurements except for the blood oxygen which loses 2-3% and the altimeter which loses around 3-5 meters. Overall, very good; its battery is a beast in every sense of the word, it doesn't run out at all. It connects very easily even with iPhone, it is indeed waterproof (I have done 4 spearfishing sessions with the watch and it performed excellently, of course, it needs a good rinse after the sea). In terms of messages, notifications, calls, etc., I had no issues; the watch responds fully, as well as in exercise measurements which are quite accurate. I don't know what happens with the GPS though, since I haven't used it so far. It is also quite durable, as after several hits the watch has no scratches on it.
On the negatives, I would mention what I said at the beginning about some measurements (blood oxygen and altitude) and that sometimes (rarely, but I mention it) it freezes when you try to start some exercise.
In summary, it is a very good watch with many features that will satisfy those who want a good smartwatch with many functions and above all, good battery life, very durable, and truly waterproof up to great depths (tested up to 25 meters) and do not want to spend a fortune. Personally, I have not regretted a single euro and I would buy it again with my eyes closed.. I recommend it without hesitation.
Update after 9 months of use with quite a bit of rough handling: the watch has not suffered anything at all.. after several hits and many swims in the sea and spearfishing, the watch remains perfectly fine without suffering anything, proving that it is an extremely durable and truly waterproof watch that will not suffer no matter how much you neglect it
I have had it since April 23rd. It is the fourth amazefit. It is a black dog and to speak in detail, I have taken more than 50 baths with it in the sea (careful not to take a hot shower afterwards, I wash it with fresh tap water to remove the salts). The gtr4 I had for two months took a hit from a heavy-duty fiber optic cable, then I put it in the sea, it took on water and the screen burned. I got the trex 2 and the autonomy is great, the shell doesn't get damaged by hits and the communication with the mobile is very good, better than the gtr4. Now it doesn't have all the features of a high-end smart watch and costs a lot more money, but the oximeter works well and the heart rate is close to the blood pressure monitor I have. I recommend it for basic notifications... I don't exercise, I don't say anything about that.
Owner of about 2 months... I am a particularly athletic person, so I have tried it in many situations... the measurements, therefore, are mostly correct, regardless of whether sometimes it has some glitches with heart rate measurements during exercise, and even though you feel like your heart is about to break, it shows you 125 to 130. The altimeter often requires adjustment, a process that may take about 5 minutes, but it will help with accurate distance and altitude measurement. During swimming in a pool, the distance measurements are correct, it may lose about 50 meters in the front (I tried it in the pool and swimming in open water, and the distance I covered was accurate in the measurements). Distance measurements on a bike are correct... measurements during running, measured on a track, are accurate... in measurements with resistance at the gym, it counts the sets and you add the weight you lift... it has many sports in its menu, martial arts, aesthetics, and many others... it also measures exercise load, such as VO2, now whether it is accurate, only a specialized laboratory can answer us. Oxygen measurements, as I saw with an oximeter, are accurate... As for the battery, it's amazing, with daily use for exercise, without using the battery-saving mode at all, with about 13 hours of exercise per week and frequent GPS adjustment, it lasts about 16 days. For someone who is not interested in answering calls and talking from it, or paying with their watch and can simply settle for notifications, I definitely recommend considering it as an option.
I have had it for about 3 months mainly for cycling and connecting with Strava. I am completely satisfied with the watch, the measurements are on par with Garmin, which I might consider buying in the future. The altimeter, heart rate monitor, and GPS work perfectly. However, I am afraid to test it in water and I always take it off before showering. I bought it based on its battery life and durability, but it is relatively indifferent when it comes to connecting with a mobile phone for notifications, and it does not have NFC. I hope it will last for many years, and if future models include additional features, it will definitely be a hit.
Coming from Stratos 3
What I liked:
-Nice bright screen.
-The battery lasts forever, even with all functions on full, it easily lasts a month.
-Navigation through the menu is very fast.
-Notifications, you can reply with preset texts that you can customize.
What I didn't like:
-Although they added compatibility with external heart rate monitors, my Scosche Rhythm24 is not compatible, which is a big disappointment!
-When disconnected from the phone, it doesn't notify you, for example, if you leave home and forget your phone, the Stratos 3 doesn't send a notification.
-It doesn't have an airplane mode.
Overall, I am satisfied. It is a simple watch with GPS and fitness apps. It has good battery life. You can view messages, but you cannot interact with your phone in any other way.
I am writing the review only for the user arisvam who had a bad experience with this product. Because when my husband first got it, he was thrilled, so in the following semester, I got one for myself and my son. A total of 3 watches. Mine, the first time I went swimming with it, it malfunctioned and never turned on again! I am only writing this because the customer service is amazing and they quickly instructed the store where I bought it to either give me a new one or refund my money if they don't have any in stock.
They gave me a new one, and so far, after 2 years, none of the 3 watches have had any issues. What stands out for me is their durability against impacts, the GPS, and the battery life. And if you don't need many features besides notifications and GPS for workouts, it's perfect. The other features I wouldn't say are very accurate, but they didn't interest me anyway at this price.
The watch got water inside after 5 minutes in the sea without even swimming. The known store where I bought it didn't honor the warranty and I lost my money for nothing. This happens when the product is not from the official representative.
I got the khaki desert, it is beautiful and comfortable in hand. I do not have previous experience with smartwatches, so I do not give it 5 stars as I cannot compare. The watch came without user instructions, but I found instructions in English on the internet. Luckily, because otherwise it would have been difficult for me to figure it out! I have had it for about a month now, and as for the negatives, I would say that it does not have exercise detection at the gym and it records other activities instead, but this is something you can adjust and correct on your own later, just be patient - which I am not! Therefore, I still have to manually track my exercises on my phone, something I would have preferred to avoid with the watch. Also, the UV index never updates!
Now, about the battery... From 100% charge, it lasted 9 days until 10%, during which I did about 12 hours of exercise in total.
I also used it for swimming in the sea, flawless! The watch is in 24/7 mode with sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, oxygen levels, etc. I have an iPhone, and the synchronization works perfectly fine!
I have it here for a few months and I am very satisfied! I think it is the best one can get for the money! Very good battery life, accurate measurements, comfortable and lightweight but at the same time sturdy and durable!
I bought it for the price of 180€
The watch for the money that I bought for €180 is really good. Initially, I had a fear about the battery but it turned out that it lasts much longer than I expected. I highly recommend it
I was the owner of the Amazfit Stratos 2 for five years. It suddenly stopped working and wouldn't turn on again, so without a second thought, I went back to the same company. The watch is very good for basic things. I have been using it for a month now for running, weightlifting, abs workouts, trail running, walking, swimming in the pool and in open water, and HIIT workouts. I am very satisfied with the money I spent and the watch I got. I was very concerned about the fact that on various websites when you search for a good smartwatch, it doesn't appear, as the articles probably direct the consumer to buy more expensive watches. Through searching and comparing features with watches that are up to 100 euros more expensive and from more "famous" brands, I discovered that it provides almost the same features.
I have no complaints about the accuracy of the measurements. If you want accuracy, you have to go for additional equipment anyway (such as a band, etc.). As for the battery life, while I expected to charge it every two days with the usage I give it, I see that it lasts for more than 7 days. It looks very nice on the wrist, nice material. Of course, I got a screen protector for it. Nice charger and fast charging. The Zepp application for Android that I have is excellent. I haven't used Zepp coach, so I have no opinion. It has PAI measurement, which the Stratos 2 didn't have before. Quick GPS tracking. It detects and analyzes sleep.
The only negatives are that the straps have a strange screwdriver to remove them. Therefore, changing them is not so easy. And finally, it doesn't have as many free watch faces as the Stratos had, but personally, I don't care, I never change it.
I recommend it so far, it hasn't shown anything negative. I hope it lasts as long as the previous one, which lasted for five years. If you notice the prices, they are, for me, among the value for money smartwatches.
For its price, it is a decent watch. I mainly use it for running and walking. With GPS on (in automatic mode) for 2 hours of exercise per day and active call and message notifications, as well as heart rate monitoring, the battery lasts for 12 days. I haven't put it in the sea or pool because I have another watch for that purpose, so I don't have an opinion on that. It works very well with iPhone 13 (syncs immediately, receives messages instantly). It is oriented towards a sport watch and not a smart watch (it shows viber or teams messages, but not with the same level of detail as an i watch or Samsung). It also does not have a speaker for open listening. I don't miss the aforementioned features because I wanted a sport watch with some smart functions, so it fully meets my needs.
I have had it in my possession for more than a month and I have charged it twice! I'm not 100% sure about the measurements because it's my first smartwatch! So, I consider that for its price, it's worth it completely!
I have had the watch for almost 4 months. I liked all its functions, the battery lasts double and it holds all the satellites for 5 days (4 workouts per week) while with GPS +BDS, it lasts 9 days. After some updates, the watch improved in terms of heart rate measurement in all the tests I did, including hiking, running, and cycling. It now works very well. I am also looking forward to the new upgrade that they announced, which the zepp2.0 will receive. That's why I give it 5 stars
Purchase 22/6/2023
First of all, I must mention that it is a very durable watch that will not easily scratch.
Water from the faucet is fine, but it has not been tested in the sea yet.
The screen is very clear for its price, with a choice of 6-7 free themes and 4-5 always-on display themes, with the note that you cannot add themes to the always-on display. However, in the main themes that the watch will have through the application, you can create your own in the Custom category and when you go to the latest themes, you can choose one with your own image.
Battery life: I have been using it a lot since yesterday afternoon and it has consumed about 10%, so with the always-on display, heart rate measurements every 10 minutes, active screen every 10 seconds, and other usage, it consumes about 10-15% per day, so everything is good regarding the battery.
Sleep tracking is accurate, so everything is good here, as well as stress and heart rate measurements.
There is a wide variety of straps available, for example, you can buy one if you don't like the default one, which personally suited me quite well.
Overall, as first impressions and conclusions, it is worth investing in this watch for a price range of 130-170 if you don't want it to scratch easily, withstand cold temperatures, have accurate measurements, and many other features, without having to spend 300 euros on a watch.
It's an amazing watch for the following reasons. Easy to wear, lightweight, accurate measurements, all open with activities and the battery lasts for 8+ days. I wore it in the shower (not the sea) and nothing happened. I use it as a sports watch because I think it's vain to see notifications from my phone for functions that concern the phone. This would make sense if it had an esim. Detailed sleep status at night, it also counts daily over 20 minutes. Automatic recognition of hiking and three other sports. The official application is excellent, there you can see hiking maps as well as car routes with many measurements. The only thing missing is the ability to pay by card.
Simply value for money. It's perfect for its price. I didn't expect such a cheap sportwatch to have such accuracy in measurements. I have read some issues with altitude measurement. I confirm that this specific measurement is not accurate. If I wanted everything to be perfect, I would get a Garmin for 900 euros. Everything else is perfect. The battery lasts up to 2 weeks with my workouts. The screen clarity is very good and the touch is flawless.
Excellent watch, great value for money. It has good accuracy in its measurements (it has 3 different accuracy measurements: GPS; battery saving-medium-high accuracy position). With 4 workouts per week, GPS set to medium, constantly connected to mobile, automatic pulse measurement every half hour, and sleep tracking. So far, I charge it every 15 days when the battery reaches 35%. Waterproof up to 10 meters, I have not reached its limits in the pool, and it works fine in the shower. The only negative aspect is that since I switched from Samsung to iPhone, it loses contact 1-2 times a day and I have to open the app to synchronize it without losing any data. It works well with Apple Health.
Bought 2 months ago in WILD GREEN color. The battery life is really great, as I use it daily, except for one day, when I go to the gym and on Sundays for 40-50km cycling. The battery doesn't even get tired and of course, neither does my hand, as it is quite light, being made of good quality plastic. The 1.39-inch AMOLED screen is very comfortable to look at, with great clarity.
Its measurements are quite high in my rating, always with personal data, compared to my previous sport watch Garmin, so I know how far the Trex 2 can go and so far it has done great in its measurements. Of course, Garmin had other features that were not just decorative, but I can live without them.
What I would like is for the app to be able to work with Yazio, as Garmin does, with excellent results, as it automatically recorded my steps and sports activities.
Overall, the Amazfit Trex 2 is a sport watch that I recommend for its great price, excellent recordings, lightness, and very good battery life. My only objection is that if you don't lock the screen and take a shower, the screen turns on and does whatever it wants. I suggest locking it during such use.
Finally, the only major drawback is the lack of NFC, which really made my life easier with my previous watch.
Very reliable watch, its application on the mobile covers me perfectly and the pai that the amazfit have is a very nice tool to encourage you to do aerobic exercise. Anyone who wants more accuracy in running, walking, hiking, climbing, outdoor cycling can activate the 3D mode that is found in most of them when they have activated one of these workouts or which maps the environment much better and measures the route with greater accuracy in which we exercise.
I really can't find anything negative about its price and category!
I highly recommend it and it doesn't require anything from the most expensive for someone who wants it for normal use!
The successful one can also put their hand deeper in their pocket.
You get what you pay for.
