It's a decent shoe, but it has some negatives, there are moments when you feel your foot "floating" inside the shoe.
At a fast pace, it doesn't give you the push you expect due to the carbon and that you feel in other shoes, for example, Saucony Endorphin.
The tongue of the shoe is so thin that if you pull it a little harder, it cuts.
Bought for 112.5 euros. Size 43 1/3 and weight 312g. It is a shoe for medium distances. It is a heavy shoe with a hard sole, when I lift my foot and the arch rises and I step towards the toe, I have no stability there at all. The sole protrudes from the rest of the shoe, which helps with the step, but the step is hard. The fabric is quite breathable but it wrinkles and doesn't sit nicely on my foot. Due to the hardness, they tired me out very quickly!
Hoka Bondi X .....For long distances, it is superb.... I started doing 20 kilometers and gradually reached 34 kilometers without even realizing it.... The next day, I should have had a rest day, but I went running again, feeling very good....
The best shoe I have ever worn, by far even better than the bondi 7. With the right socks, you put them on and start running and running and running until you have no more energy. You may not have energy, but your feet are fine.
It feels like it adjusts to your foot as you run. For short distances, five to ten kilometers, it's great, you won't see a big difference. The big difference is noticeable from a half marathon and above, out on the road. For the track, it's okay, I just can't say they impressed me on the track.
Where they impressed me was out on the road and for long distances.
Of course, this is just my personal opinion. Something that fits perfectly on one person's foot may be the exact opposite for another.
The best shoes among the 5 HOKA ONE that I have and among the other manufacturers that I have worn ...
Very comfortable and very soft sole. You feel like you're stepping on cushions. Very fast, especially for short distances.
I came back after several running kilometers. Final conclusion: For distances longer than 5Km, I had injuries. I never felt them as "my own". They were always a "foreign body". Heavy, no grip at all. The foot was floating (even though I got them half a size bigger). My foot strikes were all wrong and I injured all my muscles. I gave up on them because they destroyed my feet. I got Brooks Ghost 14 and I was saved. I still cry for the 225€ I spent
