The laptop is quite powerful for everyday tasks, ideal for a student, the 16 GB RAM is quite satisfactory, easy to carry. The downside is definitely the temperature that rises very quickly and the battery life
****** Negatives
* The cooling and exhaust design is one of the worst on the market. It's one of those laptops where opening the screen creates a gap in the base of the laptop for air intake. It's like lifting the entire laptop 2cm when the screen is open. The exhaust practically blows hot air towards the screen.
* The keyboard gets stuck with Ctrl + Alt (probably due to dust, etc., and may be fixable).
* Then the plastic cover around the screen broke, requiring repair (check images).
* Bloatware
* I'm running GPU drivers from q1-2022 because the customized ones (and the stock Intel iris) can't recognize my classic 5-year-old LG 29" ultrawide (if only I had an odyssey 40"+). I've spoken with Dell support in Greece and abroad three times, hoping for a solution... But no...
***** So-and-so
* The screen is 144hz, but with 300 nits brightness.
* Trackpad
* Plastic = lightweight with all that implies.
***** Good
* The battery is quite good, lasting 3-4 hours under full load.
* Easy 6+ for simple use.
If this is a business laptop, then I'm a quantum computer. My girlfriend has an Asus ZenBook 14 (non-oled), light-years ahead. Not even worth comparing to my personal M1 MacBook Pro.
Very powerful machine! I had been searching for a long time and I am very satisfied with its purchase. In terms of "negatives," I would mention the pre-installed DELL programs, the fact that it is not particularly lightweight, and the fact that - at least initially - it often raised the temperature.
