It looks tough because it is
To create the ultimate sports watch, we crafted every element with meticulous attention to detail for unparalleled performance. Titanium achieves the perfect balance between weight, ruggedness, and corrosion resistance. The new case design is elevated to surround the flat sapphire crystal and protect it from edge impacts. The digital crown is larger and the side button is raised from the case, making them easier to use when wearing gloves.
Larger and Brighter Display
The largest and brightest screen ever on an Apple Watch. Direct sunlight is no obstacle for the Always-On Retina display with 2000 nits, twice as bright as any other Apple Watch. The larger screen provides more space for workout metrics and detailed watch faces.
Wayfinder watch face with Night Mode function
Specifically for the Apple Watch Ultra, the Wayfinder face features a watch dial that can change to a live compass. In low-light conditions, you can rotate the digital crown to activate Night Mode and see the watch face turn vibrant red.
Ready for Action
The new Action button gives you quick, natural control over a variety of functions. It is customizable and can do things like control a workout, mark a waypoint with a compass, or start a dive. Just like you, it is full of possibilities.
Battery for days
When you are on the second day of a trip, the final leg of a triathlon, or diving into a coral reef, the last thing you want to worry about is running out of battery. With longer battery life than ever before, you can tackle almost anything.
Pioneering Dual-Frequency GPS System
The performance of the GPS is crucial for athletes who want the most accurate measurements, whether training on urban roads or in the wild. The Apple Watch Ultra features a new dual-frequency precision GPS system that provides stunning accuracy in the most challenging locations.

How is it, that the little island of Cyprus, provides a mobile network (Cyta) which enables service on Apple cellular watches… yet in all of Greece, including Athens… we dont have any cellular providers?? Its about to be 2024… what is the hold up. Samsung watches are enabled, but Apple watches nope sorry. You’re selling the cellular models in Greece, without the capabilities to enable cellular service. Am I the only one who thinks this is insane? Let me sell you a race car which can reach 320KPH, but the wheels aren’t available so you just sit inside of it and listen to the engine. And no drop in price, nope its the same price as the car equipped with wheels. Cmon guys
The Titanium and Ceramic back materials and the screen are worth it. The sleep tracking application does not start on its own, you have to set it up every time. The battery will last for 3 days after 6 months of moderate use. The measurements are accurate. The tracking application is good, practical maps for navigation, good synchronization for calls, messages, updates, etc. with iPhone. For the price of 1000 euros, it is questionable if it is value for money.
Unbelievable watch!!! The battery easily lasts two, maybe even three days!!!! It is very fast and very accurate in its measurements!!! In terms of construction, it is very sturdy!!! I even wore it in the sea and it immediately measured the depth!!! I believe it is worth its money!!! If someone is looking for a good watch and has the money, do not hesitate to get it with closed eyes!!
From the top smartwatches on the market and the best that Apple has released. I have had it since April '23 and it has been exposed to dust, sand, plenty of water, and scratches, and it doesn't suffer any damage. The screen protector film is a must for even greater durability against impacts. The battery easily lasts about 55 hours, while if you use it, it lasts around 45 hours. The altimeter is very close compared to certified ones.
Update: 10 months later, the battery has decreased a bit, but it still lasts around 45 hours. The rest of the features are the same as the first day I got it.
It's a premium watch that does it all. It has significantly more capabilities than other smartwatches. I didn't want to get an Apple Watch because I thought they were overpriced, but I was wrong. The battery surprisingly lasts 2-2.5 days with sleep tracking, always-on display, and all sensors activated, even though they advertise it as lasting up to 1.5 days. If there's one negative, it's the price. If you just want the watch for its daily functions without caring about build quality and battery life, choose another Apple Watch.
It was purchased in February and I gave it away in May and convinced me to get the series 8. It's a big watch that sits on your wrist like a saucer... those who had previous Apple Watches have no relation maybe because it has a flat screen and is thicker. It will always stand out from shirts, blouses, clothes, etc. Over time, I realized that the use I make of it is like the series 5 I had and then wondered why I gave my €1000;;; I don't dive, I don't climb, I don't run in the woods, nothing of all that Apple advertises. Yes, it is a premium construction like a watch, it is fine in everything, but it is an expensive watch that you will put in the sea or put your old g shock;; Will you wear it to do your work or leave it aside so it doesn't break because you've given €1000;;; In the end, I realized that you wear it until it melts on your hand everywhere (if the size suits you) with whatever risks it has or just get another Apple Watch cheaper, more dressy that you will wear in everyday life and in more extreme situations wear something else.
This is the classic Apple Watch, plus some features for athletes. It is much more durable than others, and has a longer battery life. Notifications sound clearer. The crown is covered by the side casing, so it has this style where you have to use a finger to turn it, although I don't mind. The button on the left is more like a shortcut. I accepted the larger screen surface quite well because now it covers the entire surface on the wrist. It is heavy on the wrist. The strap is scratchy but it looks quite high quality scratchy and it envelops the wrist, meaning it is not like the others where you button one end to the other, so you have to pull it to open the strap and take off your wrist.
Overall, as an Apple Watch series watch, it does not differ greatly. It is quite expensive but the durability of its glass and battery, I wouldn't say it justifies it, at least to the naked eye. However, the durability in other activities is very high, at least for me who hits it from here and there because I still bathe with it, it has not bent. I have not put any screen protectors on it and I am now checking if I need it and if the "Ultra" series from Apple is indeed military grade!
In no case should you buy it if you just want a simple smartwatch, get either the SE or the simple series like the 6, in my opinion it is the best value.
Without many words, it is a gem, from the moment you wear it you understand that it is something different from what is circulating! Transition from Apple Watch 6 nike. Its price may seem high, but its materials are top quality! You get what you pay for.. if there is the possibility to buy it, get it with closed eyes! QUALITY.
Excellent in every way! As for its durability, what can I say… I have hit it several times at work, to the point that it should normally have several damages, without a protective case and screen protector, and it has no wear at all!
The Apple Watch is what I should have gotten from the beginning. Solid construction, durable build, incredible accuracy in measurements. I don't think it's just for athletes or climbers. I think it's for those who want the ultimate health and fitness guide. Super accurate measurements. Yes, it's expensive, but you know you have a watch that will comfortably stand at the top for the next two years.
Coming from the watch series 7 45mm, I have to say that it is FAR superior in EVERYTHING..! Very satisfied! It's one of those changes that someone should make and not like the iPhone where you won't see big differences from 13 to 14.
Simply amazing! As a previous owner of the Series 6, I can see a noticeable difference in the quality of both the watch and the screen, which is far brighter, with all the functions I had before, plus the latest depth measurement for diving, always-on compass, accident siren, etc. Larger size, more robust, night display so you don't "twist" in your sleep, and if you're savvy, you can use an app to make it look like another watch you like.
I am truly sorry that such an expensive product has incomplete items in the packaging.
1. It does not come with a charging adapter in the packaging, so you have to spend an additional 20€ to purchase it.
2. It does not have the extension strap because the one provided by the company does not fit all wrist sizes, so you have to spend an additional 55€ to purchase it.
3. It does not support an esim card, and unfortunately, this was the main reason why I bought it.
After many years with watches in all series, Apple released a "statement" watch. Different from all previous ones, mainly in construction but also with some additional functions compared to the others. After working with it for about 2-3 months, I have to say:
Battery in normal use with a lot of notifications lasts max 2.5-3 days.
The screen is the brightest and, due to its size, very user-friendly for someone with big fingers.
The strap is really a matter of taste, but personally I prefer the alpine loop because it shows the uniqueness and style of the watch.
Price - clearly the rule that you get what you pay for applies 100%, but because all rules have their exceptions, around 800€ would be a good value for money.
Certainly, for someone who will invest in this watch for a full 5 years, they will be well covered.
I have the previous model of the Series 7 and comparing it, I noticed several points that make it superior. Apart from the negative of the expensive price, it is very elegant, brighter and when you see it up close and wear it, you discover that it is better than what you see in advertisements. It is not just a watch for measuring sports activities, but with its carefully chosen color and a suitable strap, you can wear it with your most formal outfit.
After Apple Watch Series 7 Aluminium 45mm, transitioning to Apple Watch Ultra Titanium 49mm Waterproof with eSIM and ECG (Blue/Gray Trail Loop M/L), it is lightweight and convenient on the wrist, beautifully designed. You easily forget what charging means, comfortably lasting 3.5-4 days. It connects to Wi-Fi. Apple Home comes with iPhone 14 Pro Max, HomePod Mini, MacBook Pro. Unboxing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Si3DFI3HQgg. Returning on 6/22/23 with update watchOS 9.5.2 after 8 months, battery health still at 100%, just like the 14 Pro Max after 9 months
For anyone who sees the Apple Watch as both a sport action watch and a timepiece, rather than just a simple smartwatch, the choice is clear. While the cost is certainly higher compared to the aluminum version, if you see it as an investment for the next five or more years, the feeling you'll get wearing it on your wrist is unparalleled! Having already used the Apple Watch 2, 4, 5 aluminum and 6 stainless steel, the ultra in combination with titanium and the sapphire crystal on the screen makes this particular model almost indestructible! Its beauty is also indescribable and its quality is evident at first glance. It can be used with or without cases, glass or membranes, with due care of course.
By attaching the ocean band and the trail loop that I will purchase, and in combination with the Graphite Milanese Loop or the Space Black Link Bracelet, the Apple Watch magically transforms into a classic timepiece that you can wear on formal outings and professional meetings, without feeling like you're wearing something "cheap" compared to those who wear classic watches. Personally, having the Space Black Link Bracelet, I noticed that there is a noticeable difference in color compared to the natural color of titanium, so I can easily switch between them, having an additional option. Furthermore, with the old 42 or 44 sport bands (and a good thin case for me with quality screen protection), it can be transformed back into a sportwatch suitable for walking and running, which I personally use. I don't feel the extra weight at all compared to aluminum or stainless steel.
As for the new features, it has a much brighter, more colorful screen than the 6, while for me personally, the compass function and the new face are particularly important due to my professional occupation, where even on the standby screen, you can monitor altitude changes in real time!
I highly recommend it for anyone who:
1/ wants a timepiece with sport capabilities so they don't have to carry a classic watch, as the size now easily replaces a Taugh Hauer or a Tissot...
2/ plans to keep it for many years, after all, it's not going to become obsolete.
3/ has enough straps to take advantage of all its capabilities.
