Although I believe it deserves 5 stars, I would like the price to be more affordable.
On my pc, I have 3 monitors and a fourth 55-inch QLED at 120hz. I compare it with the 55-inch I have. If I didn't have the 55-inch, I think it's worth the money, but compared to the TV I have, I don't think so.
Compared to the LG UltraGear 1440P 27-inch at 144Hz (former main monitor), the difference is night and day. Both in colors, but also the 165Hz that the G7 has, make a noticeable difference.
The HDR it has is amazing. The black is black and doesn't gray at all.
Things I noticed and impressed me.
I think, for some reason, the panel raises the temperature which is noticeable when sitting at a close distance.
In some games, I consider the 32-inch to be quite large to be able to play with the same comfort you would have on a 27-inch, unless you have space to move back (if you don't have a controller) and there is space on the desk, (always for a gaming desk)
Coming from the Odessey g7 (2K 240hz), this monitor was the most immediate solution for a 4K display. I haven't noticed a tremendous difference from 240hz to 165hz. It's generally worth it to have 4K if your system can handle it (I have a 4090). The image quality is very good, and the response time is great. I mainly play Warzone (180-200 fps) with all graphics set to full without DLSS. You may lose 15-20 fps going from 2K to 4K, but it's worth it for the image quality alone. As for the 32-inch size, I was worried it wouldn't suit me, but it's the perfect size. Like all the Odyssey monitors, their stand is the best in terms of adjustability
Very satisfied. Owner here for two months. I had many concerns about Samsung's QC, but I did all the tests for dead pixels and scanlines at 165hz and it's flawless. The only way to go if you want good HDR with LED (miniled). I had OLED, yes HDR is roughly 15-20% better, but burn-in is inevitable. I had permanent burn-in and I swore never again in the near future. Also, with HDR enabled, the energy consumption becomes category G for your information. Sucks but it is what it is. I used your Ratings profile and I recommend you do the same.
