The trekker tent from Nils is a double-layered tent that offers a bedroom and a large vestibule for rainy nights or camping gear storage. The tent can accommodate four people, providing ample space and comfort during sleep.
High comfort of rest is provided by a waterproof sheet and floor with parameters 3000mm H2O.
The material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, does not fade, and maintains its material strength.
The Trekker tent has two large entrances in the vestibule. The sleeping area is made of breathable material that prevents condensation from forming while the user sleeps. The sleeping area also features a mosquito net and ventilation holes at the back. All these solutions maintain high levels of ventilation and airflow, ensuring a long and comfortable sleep.
The tent is based on three fiberglass frames integrated with the sheet. The tunnels and frames are marked with the same color, making it easy to match the correct frame with the tunnel. Thanks to the special bases inside the sheet, a bedroom can be suspended inside the tent. The entire tent is secured with pegs, along with the cords that secure the sheet.
The Trekker is equipped with a carrying bag, making it easy to fit the tent during travel.
The tent is equipped with two interior pockets for convenient storage and a pouch under the roof to hang a light.
The fiberglass frame is a common choice for constructing camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.
Fiberglass is flexible, allowing the frame to be lightweight and flexible to support the tent fabric.
The waterproofing in a tent shows us how much water its exterior fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to how many millimeters of vertical water column (and pressure) a square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.
The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is and therefore the warmer the tent. The widely used values of waterproofing range from 500mm to 10000mm. In theory, any fabric with waterproofing >1000mm is considered waterproof. For example, a summer tent can have waterproofing ranging from 500 to 1500mm.
