It doesn't 'stick' anywhere, it glides smoothly through the hair.
If you grew up in the 90's.. when they used to comb us with that horrible brush with the balls on the edge.. that would take away 50 hairs and a bit of your soul with every stroke, you will see the light!

It really detangles quickly and relatively painlessly, even when wet (I used it at the beach). I got it just to change brushes, I didn't expect it to actually do what it promises ;)
