Most SUPs worldwide are not made to withstand 45 or 50 degrees under the sun as excessive heat increases the internal air pressure, often exceeding the 15 psi limit, leading to small or large air leaks. Viking SUPs are manufactured based on Welding Rail technology, which increases resistance to internal pressure to a maximum of 25 psi.

This technology allows for the mechanical bonding of PVC layers (Welding Rail Tech) without the use of glue, achieving the fusion of two surfaces into a single, solid structure. This technology, presented for the first time in Greece, exponentially improves the mechanical properties of the SUP and especially their resistance to high temperatures. Additionally, the reduction in glue usage makes the SUPs odorless and increases their ecological footprint. Further protection from high temperatures is provided by the internal UV radiation protection coating.
