Izzy is determined to do whatever it takes to return from Corfu to her beloved London. Until she meets Ariana in the attic of the old house she has moved into, who wants to leave the "island of rain" even more than she does. Together with the (former) most annoying boy in her class, Vincent, Izzy tries to solve the mystery surrounding Ariana. The two of them will follow clues well hidden in an enigmatic music notebook, chase winged lions, and discover the "real" Corfu, where yesterday intertwines with today in the most unexpected places.
