Very good mobile. Owner of 7t -8t- 9 pro-10 pro and now OnePlus 12. As for the battery issue, if the screen goes into HD resolution where you can't see any tremendous difference with the naked eye, the battery is fine. It's worth buying even now for a used one at 350€. Its specs are very powerful.

First experience with the speaker. For me, it is neither loud nor suitable for music.
The camera is amazing, but when you want to focus on something close, it automatically changes, as I understood, between the cameras and cannot "focus". Not always, of course, but if it does, it can be frustrating. It is excellent at night and also very good in videos.
Now, the battery... yes, but. If you use it as you want, it won't last the whole day, but if you have a power outlet nearby, you can charge it in 10 minutes and get another half day of usage.
Temperature... yes, here we have some issues. It heats up quite easily, and you can feel it in your hands, but I don't see any delay when it gets hot, so maybe it's negligible. Especially when you use the camera a lot, it heats up faster than when playing a game, I think.

I asked for a refund or a replacement with the next model and offered to pay the difference, but after 5 days they have not replied yet. This phone is amazing, I probably won't go back to Samsung. Someone can be surprised when they make a call and the time it takes for the phone to connect is funny. Funny things if you think about it, considering that the screen protector and charger are 80w, and the phone charges so fast you won't even realize it.
I just wanted to do my job and enjoy some photos and videos, so the triple camera is simply top-notch! Calls, battery, speed, reliability, and photos are all wonderful at the moment. I highly recommend it, and time will show the rest.

The mobile phone was in my hands for about a week, which was enough to convince me to write this review! This evaluation mainly refers to more "tech-savvy" individuals who are looking for a new device, as well as people who don't know much but want to understand the differences of this device from others!
First of all, the mobile phone is fantastic, very fast and beautiful (important, even though many say that only specs matter), but that doesn't mean it doesn't have negatives. The positives and negatives of the phone are described below.
As for the positives:
1. The only device that actually utilizes the 8 Gen 1, in a time when even a 150-200 euro phone can do all kinds of tasks without lag. This particular phone managed to offer options and capabilities that truly make use of the processor's power (while also limiting it when not needed to save battery).
2. The display is simply stunning. 120Hz with adaptive Hz at QHD+ resolution, with fantastic colors, it provides the best gaming and browsing experience. No further comment needed, we're talking about Samsung's top-of-the-line panel that not even Samsung phones have.
3. Something that many have been mentioning lately about the phone and OnePlus is its software. Yes, it was acquired from OPPO, yes, it took some "bad" parts from Color OS, but believe me, it also took countless good things. Much more optimization in terms of colors, wallpapers, widgets, sounds, and more. Much more security. For those who say it's heavier and runs slower, I can only say that for phone calls, messages, camera, and all the basic tools, it uses Google's stock apps, which are excellent and naturally optimized to the maximum, something that wasn't the case even with the 7 Pro, where they said Oxygen OS was at its peak and there were heavier applications for tools.
4. Tremendous build quality. The Gorilla Glass Victus, along with the metal body, make the phone durable while also elegant. The design is also very good, as it is slim and has a unique but nice feel with the new back design (of course, personal taste matters here).
5. The camera. Hasselblad... they've been talking about it for 2 years now, but not without reason. The camera is truly amazing, making it equal to, if not better than, Pixel, Samsung, and Apple in certain aspects this year. Of course, for someone who wants the best photo with a simple click, it is slightly behind those companies. The OnePlus camera dominates when used in pro mode. I believe the name Hasselblad goes further... the details it achieves in pro mode with the right hand and settings are amazing and better than 99% of the cameras on phones out there. Definitely a camera that is truly flagship in comparison to previous years when OnePlus was known for mediocre cameras.
6. Battery, I have one thing to say: 0% to 80% in 20 minutes (tested: 2% to 80% in 22 minutes) and it reaches 100% in just 10 more minutes.
7. Cooling. The 8 Gen 1 processor is very hot, and based on tests, OnePlus is better than all the major companies at keeping it at normal levels and as a result, maintaining the same performance in demanding situations.
8. The OnePlus ecosystem is starting to rise and add devices and accessories for all budgets (For some it may be good, but for others it may be bad as it becomes like other companies).
9. There is a charger (with the device's max wattage) and a cable, as well as a case included in the packaging (very rare in today's phones).
Before I get to the negatives, I want to note something regarding the durability of the phone, as there was a well-known video where it breaks in half because it doesn't have an IP rating for another year. The phone will not break in normal or even more challenging daily use, it will withstand all the drops it will have, just like any other phone. Of course, it may be more vulnerable in more extreme situations such as crashes or serious falls, always speaking assuming that the phone will be without a case like it was in the video. Personally, in case of a crash, I wouldn't be interested in the phone being intact, but I, as well as surely (me), will have a case on the phone. As for the IP rating, the company has stated that the phone has all the protections like other phones, it just doesn't want to pay extra to get the certifications.
As for the negatives:
1. The difficulty of getting service in Greece makes it very difficult to replace a broken screen and other damages. Buying spare parts from third-party manufacturers is always a solution, but with the risk of quality.
2. The price is steep for the times. Overall, OnePlus is moving away from the category of cheap phones and entering the category of truly premium products, but it offers the best performance in the market in my opinion.
3. The lack of a microSD slot.
4. The mediocre quality of the selfie camera. Here, OnePlus unfortunately falls behind... 1080p for the selfie is not that bad, especially for me who rarely uses it, but it is worse than other devices in its category. Of course, there is hope for the integration of 4K in a future update.
5. It only comes in two colors (one only in the 12/256 version).

I have to say that the user experience remains flawless, as is usually the case with OnePlus: fast, responsive without any lag, and even snappier than the OnePlus 8 pro.
+ Display: The screen has undeniably beautiful colors, with high detail (pixel density 525ppi) and vibrant HDR. However, I would have liked it to be slightly brighter. Unfortunately, it is slightly lower than the OnePlus 8 pro. Nevertheless, even though it is a waterfall screen, its curvature is convenient and there are no mistakes in pressing the keys on the edges of the keyboard.
+ Oxygen 12.1: fast, trouble-free, and responsive without any major bugs. It is based on Oppo's ColorOS but still remains responsive. It is a shame, however, that OxygenOS removed some special screen settings in version 12.1, such as the MEMC technology for smoother videos on YouTube, Netflix, etc.
+ Sound: excellent and stereo, comparable to the OnePlus 9 pro.
+ Cameras: while they perform well, OnePlus should have provided something more, such as higher resolution for the Telephoto camera or even keeping the macro camera that was present in the OnePlus 9 pro. Nevertheless, the main 50 MP camera performs very well even in low light conditions and can even shoot 4K videos at 120fps (something that no other phone, as far as I know, can do). The new options for 150⁰ widescreen photography and the automatic selection for Long Exposure are very nice. However, I think the selfie camera is average, although various beauty filters have been added - similar to Xiaomi phones - that were not present in older OnePlus models.
+ Handling: The phone has a much better grip than what I have tried before. It is relatively thin, feels lightweight, but I think someone can still use it with one hand.
+ Build materials: It is evident at first glance that the build materials are of high quality and have impeccable assembly and finish. Although design is subjective, with this particular device, you enjoy looking at it.
+ Battery: Along with the display, it is perhaps the strongest feature of the device. It definitely needs better optimization from the company, but with time and updates, it will improve even more.
