It easily arms and the laser it has (can be placed and removed) helps a lot with targeting. The little one is thrilled. It also has enough power and the plastic balls are launched with considerable force. For example, shooting a wall from a distance of 6-7 meters, the plastic balls will hit and bounce back at least 8-10 meters. So obviously, it requires great caution, even though it is a toy.
