I did not intend to write a review, but for such expensive purchases, I think it is necessary to help future buyers. Informally, I come from a 29-inch LG TV from the past decade (non-smart) and I wanted it for my PS4 Pro, movies/series (Netflix and from a hard drive), as well as daily channels (mainly news and the occasional movie). In short:
PICTURE => Almost impeccable. It does a great job with upscaling on the terrestrial HD channels from Digea, but everything depends on the source. If we're talking about news, the picture is okay. If we're talking about a high-quality movie on Star, it's very good. Netflix, YouTube, etc. that provide 4K HDR content, it's flawless. And if we're talking about the PS4 Pro, it's flawless and impressive. Yes, it doesn't have the immense brightness of some very expensive models that I have not seen live, but in my bright living room, the difference from before is significant and I don't feel like I'm missing anything. The colors are beautiful, the black is almost perfect for my use (I lowered it from 50 to 45-46, I think), and the viewing angles are problem-free. Especially if you're coming from an old SDR TV, the difference is chaotic. From the available modes, choose Standard for regular broadcasts, Movie for movies and period series, HDR for internet sources, and Games for consoles (I didn't notice any noticeable lag) and you're covered. I haven't noticed any light bleeding or banding.
SOUND => Satisfactory only for use with regular channels. For movies/gaming, etc., you will need external sound. I have two very good Edifier bookshelf speakers permanently connected to it, and they are perfect for every use. At first, I connected them with an optical cable, but you can't control the volume with the remote, so I switched to an RCA-to-mini jack connection, turned them up a bit (because the mini jack provides less power - luckily the speakers are good and I don't have any distortions), and everything is fine and controllable from the remote. The only substantial complaint is that out-of-the-box, the terrestrial channels had noticeable audio desynchronization, so I had to play around with the (fortunately available for all sources) delay setting and that fixed it.
MENU/OPERATING SYSTEM => Be careful, it is not Android TV, but Google TV. I didn't even know there was a distinction, the latter being newer and tending to replace the former, so Google it for the differences. Overall, it has a lot of settings, I don't feel like anything is missing except for one IMPORTANT exception (which my humble 7-year-old LG stupid TV had): it doesn't have the ability to wake up automatically! You can't tell it "open at 7 in the morning" or "open when this show starts" - I consider it a huge and inexplicable omission for the most advanced operating system and it's the only reason I deducted one star. Hopefully, it will be introduced in an update (edit: the problem was solved through a home automation device that controls the TV via infrared). The other inexplicable bug/negligence is that in order to see Greek information for what the Digea digital channels show, you have to select Greek menus on the TV - which is disappointing for me as I prefer English menus, even though many people probably won't care. Finally, the built-in media player properly plays my movies from the disk and displays external subtitles correctly.
BUILD QUALITY/CONTROLS => Without being heavy, it shows sturdy and quality construction, with legs that inspire confidence. It comes with two remote controls - one large conventional infrared mainly for the TV part (which does everything), and a smaller Bluetooth one with fewer buttons mainly for internet/gaming sources.
Very satisfied overall, and highly recommended for the uses I mentioned, despite the huge omission for me regarding the wake-up feature.
Previous writers have discussed the pros and cons of television, but I will address an issue I have encountered. Just one month after purchasing my television, it developed a problem. After contacting the central service, I was directed to the local service. There, I was informed that the circuit board was faulty and needed to be replaced. The problem is that because there is no dealership in Greece, all replacement parts must be imported. I have already been without a television for 10 days and I do not know how much longer this will continue.
I had bought the TV for 430 euros a few months ago. A very beautiful addition to any part of the house as it is very beautiful. As for the panel where it is and the reason I bought it, I have to say that it gives a very beautiful result for its category with very nice colors and excellent resolution up to 55 inches. The sound is just OK mainly in volume. It comes with two different types of remote controls. It works with Google software, which will make your multimedia use (Netflix, Spotify, etc.) seamless. As for the negatives now... It does not have the best response, many times you will see it lagging even when adjusting the volume. I knew this from other reviews before making the purchase, but I knew I would use it through a console (PlayStation 5). Also, the TV does not work with Apple's AirPlay, which may be insignificant for many, but for me, it sometimes makes my life difficult because I needed it in the past.
A general review for TCL:
It is worth its money if you know what you are buying. You pay quite a bit less than a similarly performing TV, but you lose some privileges such as connectivity with Apple devices, processor speed, and a bit of sound. However, compared to a TV of similar price, you win with the very beautiful panel that the Chinese have put on it. In summary, if you want very nice colors on your screen without paying the money that the competition asks for, knowing its disadvantages, then the purchase is worth it. Especially if it works with a TV box or a console. I hope I helped you!
The television overall had good picture quality, nice sound, and its positive aspect was that it had Google TV, which is hard to find with these features at this price. Unfortunately, its menu was relatively slow, but you can't have it all at this price. Two to three days after activation, white spots were noticed in the middle of the screen when viewed from a closer distance (not visible from the couch). It was sent back and a refund was issued as it was determined by the service that it was defective. After reading that TCL does not have a representation in Greece, we did not attempt to purchase the same or another TCL. However, at the current price of €470, I definitely would not prefer it, as the new Hisense (€499) that we purchased is far superior in picture quality and has a faster menu response, even if it is vidaa and not Google Play.
I give it 4 stars for two reasons. Firstly, it has an issue with black colors, as it tends to wash out in dark scenes. Secondly, the menu is fairly user-friendly but sometimes it can lag a bit.
Other than that, it has a very good construction, nice viewing angles, and a beautiful vibrant image. I don't have an opinion on the sound as it is connected to a home cinema.
For gaming, it is also excellent with very low response time and truly 60fps.
I consider it a very worthwhile choice for casual/gaming use considering its price.
I made a purchase of TCL 65 Qled based on comments for simple use and a little bit of gaming with the PS. I will have it in 3 days. Can someone with a 65-inch one tell us about it?
The image is quite good.
The menu is excessively slow.
The image in movies with Dolby is irritating because the brightness flickers so intensely.
(If someone has a fix, please mention it).
If I could, I would send it back and buy another one.

The television was made by gamers for gamers. TCL invited professional gamers to help in the development of the 6 series as a gaming TV. I won't discuss the viewing quality in movies. The comment is for gamers who are looking for a low-mid budget TV for next-gen consoles. Response time: 12-14 ms @ 4k/60Hz. When it detects the console, VRR/dolby vision/ALLM automatically activate, reducing the resolution to 1440p with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a response time of 5-6ms. Games that support 120fps will leave you speechless. Ideal for racing games but not lacking in action adventure/FPS RPG games. Personally, I prefer the c635 over the newer c645 because the blacks are more intense due to slightly lower brightness than the c645. The panel is VA LED, not full array local dimming, and for me, it's not worth buying for a cinematic experience. HOWEVER, both models will perform flawlessly on the PS5 & Series X. The c6 series is ideal for gaming. Finally, the 55" will impress you in games. It comes in 43", 50", 55", 65", and 75" sizes
It is a great tool.. I was on a 32-inch f&u and the first impressions were very positive.. I bought it after many reviews and other TVs. Basically, I bought it for my PS5. The tool is amazing.
I have bought this TV 6 days ago and I have noticed these clouds when playing a black screen. It doesn't appear as much in reality as in the photo, but there are more gray clouds
Purchased on 6/7/2023, mainly because it had many positive reviews on Skroutz, mainly for movies and streaming, so I wouldn't have to use my computer and my 27-inch screen...
Positives:
1) Image quality
2) Viewing angle
3) Connected to WiFi, it reaches 44Down and 5Up on a 50Mbps connection.
Negatives:
1) Average sound quality... It gets muffled, especially in the bass...
2) Slow response... It takes one or two seconds (rarely less, rarely more) to execute commands from the remote control, which is quite annoying!
3) In the pre-installed apps (Netflix), everything is fine... If you download other apps from the PlayStore, like Twitch for streaming... It doesn't like it much (watching videos, the problem is fixed if I lower the resolution to 480p).
Overall, I think I wasted €450, because I don't think I'll keep it for much longer, since it can't do the job I bought it for!
If you only watch TV and Netflix and have the patience to give commands from the remote control and wait for it to respond, I believe it's worth it (if you also get a soundbar). If you don't have patience and want something more, look elsewhere! I, on the other hand, will probably go for Samsung.
Nice television, sometimes loses internet connection and cannot find the nearby router. Menu is a bit difficult to use.
Excellent in every sense of the word! I have had it for 1 month and the picture is worth every penny! If the brand was Samsung, the same TV would definitely cost over 1000€!!!! I highly recommend it without hesitation
Although it has Google Play, you cannot install all applications, as it does not even display them. Neither Chrome nor Firefox, for example. And even if you install them manually, they do not run.
For the money, it's very good.
I don't know if compared to other QLEDs of much higher value, it's inferior in image quality, but compared to LCDs of the same cost, it's superior with a noticeable difference in image quality.

Very simple menu...Android menu.
It has many good settings for both image and sound.
It connected directly to Sonos beam and the Dolby Atmos is simply amazing.
It requires a little searching for third-party apps....
Otherwise, it's an awesome TV for its price.

Regarding the image and sound quality, I am quite satisfied... the only flaw I have noticed is that when I turn on the TV and press the button for media or menu, it freezes and takes a while to open, which is a bit annoying... If you let it work for 1-2 minutes, it's okay... but otherwise, it's a pleasant TV and at a good price.
It's a very good choice! Definitely the best value for money. I was hesitant after reading some comments, but this particular choice was worth it. Additionally, I would like to mention that it has a hybrid TV (some mentioned that it doesn't), you just need to adjust it from the menu.
I didn't know the company and had no opinion. I went to a German and they highly recommended this TV. 1) It has slow response to commands. 2) It doesn't have the option for digital channels to watch old episodes. It's affordable but seems like a 10-year-old TV.
With my eyes closed! The television is incredible... I've had it for 3-4 months. Perfect picture and sound.
For those who want it for gaming with next-gen consoles, it has the ability to display 120 fps from the settings. (It understands on its own with the ps5 and adjusts, I don't know about xbox)
I haven't found anything negative about it so far.
Coming from the TCL model in c725 which broke, I switched to this c635 model and the image is amazing, especially if you watch a 4K movie. Otherwise, with Greek channels that are barely HD, it can't be fully utilized sometimes on a 4K TV.
2. The sound is very good with crystal clear audio and good bass. You don't need to turn it up past 18 unless you're deaf.
3. It has endless functions in terms of functionality, including a ton of movies from the TCL channel.
4. When you get it, adjust the screen to your liking and at first it may be slow until it receives the necessary upgrades in the first few days that you connect it to the internet. Compared to other brands, it's half the price!

Major issue: Slow menu. It's slower than 4-year-old TVs.
Tcl could have done better instead of adding unnecessary features like two remote controls. They should have used a faster processor instead.
The menu is quite slow, it takes its time to open the TV and it's generally SLOW.... When you watch something like stremio, Netflix, etc. it randomly throws you back to the home page. It's a cheap TV worth a maximum of 300€. I have it as a second one in the bedroom, otherwise I would have returned it. If you want it as your main TV, I DO NOT recommend it.

For the money, it's worth it but you can't have it all!
This is the second TCL TV I've gotten in a row. The first one (50 UHD) had a thin vertical green line. Luckily, I noticed it two months before the warranty expired and they took it back and gave me a refund.
Now, with the 55, the picture is amazing. The sound is great for movies and regular use, but if you want clarinets, it may not satisfy you. The menu, although supposed to be newer than the 50-inch one I had, is a bit poor. You can't move anything, you can't put any of the apps you've installed in the basic quick start windows, only on the small bar, which I find annoying.
The worst thing I've found, while we're talking about a Google TV, is that Chrome doesn't work at all! It has some other stupid, misused browsers in the store, but not Chrome! Come on.
I only use the small Bluetooth remote control, which is very convenient.
The voice search is terrible, 9/10 times it just opens YouTube. You have to do 60 experiments to find your friends on Netflix. And you don't say "play Friends on Netflix." No, you say Friends, and if you're lucky, it will give you the option to open it on Netflix.
In conclusion, as a TV, it's amazing so far. The menu is mediocre. But if it has a defect again, I won't buy TCL again for any reason. I hope I helped.

A very good choice that doesn't fall short in anything compared to triple-priced options. It fully covers our needs for games, series, and music. We bought it for 500€. TCL is still somewhat underrated in Greece.
Very nice image, but you need to spend 30-40 minutes adjusting it. It has vibrant colors and very good blacks! The sound could be a bit louder, but it is of good quality for a TV. Its menu is like an Android TV, so it requires a little bit of getting used to. It is worth every penny and more!!! A very good choice.
Amazing for its price. It has excellent picture and I was truly amazed by its sound. However, the menu is frustrating because it's a bit slow.
The best choice within this budget, some with similar features (not better) than Samsung / LG / Sony etc. will cost you an additional 1000€.
After a week with this specific television, I have the following to say:
+ Very good picture quality for its price
+ Google TV
- Very slow response when changing channels
- Overall slow system - as someone else mentioned, it feels like using an old tablet or mobile phone
- Does not support Timeshift live recording function
* There is an issue with Netflix - in my case, it was resolved by following these steps:
1. Activate Quick Start (even if you already have this option on, turn it off and then turn it on again)
2. Turn off the TV (hold the power button on the remote control for 5 seconds and select "yes" or "ok" to confirm turning off, then unplug the TV. After 10-15 seconds, plug in the power cord again)
3. Turn on the TV
4. Allow the GTV UI to load completely
5. Turn off the TV using the remote control button (but not completely, just put it in quick start standby mode with a short click)
6. Turn the TV back on using the button on the remote
7. Play the movie or series with Dolby Vision
8. Finally, enjoy the movie or series without any changes in brightness during scenes
After using it for 2 months, I can give my opinion. The picture is pretty good with good viewing angles. Don't expect OLED, after all, you're not paying the same amount of money. I have no opinion on the sound as it is permanently connected to a soundbar.
Most people have spoken highly of it. For the more tech-savvy, I'll tell you this: I got it because of Android TV so I can install everything (Kodi, Stermio, TiviMate, etc). Although the processor that the Chinese have put in isn't the best. It has its little quirks, imagine a 5-year-old Xiaomi TV box that is lighter.
The biggest flaw, however, is with Dolby Vision. In applications that support it, such as Netflix 4k, Disney+, Dolby Vision (which cannot be turned off) has a latency on every scene change. That is, when following a bright scene after a dark one, the panel adjusts to the new scene a few frames before, so it brightens or darkens before the next scene comes in. This happens repeatedly in every scene, in every movie, resulting in the loss of all the essence of Dolby Vision. Even with Dolby Atmos, there is a slight latency in the sound. If Dolby Atmos/Vision content is played from an external source (such as an XBOX Series S that I have on HDMI), then everything plays perfectly.
All of this shows that something is not optimized at the software level or that the TV's processor is simply not capable of playing Dolby content correctly.
