Say goodbye to dust and other debris! The Viomi cleaning robot offers a suction power of 4000 Pa, leaving your floors spotless. It also features mopping capability for even greater ease of use. The main brush is responsible for the high cleaning performance, and the advanced anti-collision system effectively detects and avoids obstacles.
Nothing can hide from the Viomi V5 Pro. The device has a suction power of 4000 Pa, collecting dirt on all kinds of surfaces - from carpets to laminate and tiles. Additionally, it increases suction power when cleaning carpets. It offers the option of simple vacuuming or vacuuming and mopping, for a complete cleaning of your home's floors.
For even better cleaning results, Viomi equips the robot with a 181 mm long brush. It can remove up to 80% of the dirt it encounters. Additionally, the brush collects approximately 82.2% of the dirt along walls and edges.
The robot is equipped with lasers, which are responsible for obstacle avoidance. The device detects obstacles within a range of 8 m with a height greater than 3.5 mm and can recognize more than 150 different obstacles. The V5 Pro scans a surface at a 180° angle and cleans spaces at a distance of approximately 1.5 cm from the walls.
Activate the robot through the app without getting up from the couch. You can control the V5 Pro through the Mi Home app for greater convenience. The device also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. All it takes is a simple voice command to start or stop the cleaning.
The device is equipped with a HEPA filter that blocks up to 95% of dirt, preventing secondary contamination. Additionally, if the battery level drops too low during cleaning, the device will return to the charging station and automatically start charging.

For 300€, I can maybe say that it's not worth it, unfortunately!
Observations:
It cleans the carpets extremely well to the point that the bin fills up on the first go, so it needs to be emptied right away. The other downside is that it doesn't have a notification for when the bin is full. I had it running and noticed that half of the house was still the same as before, and I saw that even though the bin was full, it kept on cleaning. It's completely stupid that there isn't a sensor to notify you. It should have been a basic feature.
So, the bin... very, very, very small! Bad!
The Xiaomi interface is relatively ugly. It feels like you're opening an app from 2012. It needs a lot of work. In terms of appearance, I mean. Now, in terms of functionality, it's "normal."
The best thing I have ever bought.... I haven't had to deal with the floor for a month and a half.
Initially, it is amazing for sweeping, it has a lot of power, easily goes on carpets and leaves nothing on the floor. The only issue is with carpets that have long hair, which is a problem even with a regular vacuum cleaner, but you can create a virtual wall around those specific carpets and you're good to go. Be careful with cables like headphones and chargers because they can get tangled in the brushes and wheels, and it can be a hassle to remove them.
For mopping, it does a great job with the Y-mode function. Just to test it out, I left ketchup to dry on the tiles and it completely removed it. During winter, you need to set up virtual walls around the carpets, which is easily done through the app. Personally, I have set it up to create two maps for winter, one map for sweeping with virtual walls only on carpets with long hair, and another map for mopping with virtual walls where there is carpet.
In terms of maintenance, it is easy and quick, you can be done in 5 minutes.
Overall, it is a very good vacuum cleaner with good software that is worth its price!
Very good! Having had 2 other vacuums in the past, I can have an opinion! It cleans the floor very well and its mopping is very good. I haven't tried the carpet yet, but I will write again once I do!
