Do we ultimately raise our children in the exact same way our parents raised us, even if we claim to disagree with that method?
Why can't we free ourselves from the "bonds" our parents have wrapped us in?
We abuse our children because we harbor an abused child within us. We want our son and daughter to be excellent and top of their class at all costs because our own parents condemned us to this compulsion.
We are authoritarian because deep down we hide a very insecure character who has experienced authoritarian behaviors from their parents in the past...
