It is the third pair that I buy for my children. It is the best shoe for school, playground, and walks. They have never been damaged, their wear is gradual and perfectly acceptable. They do not come off at the front from kicks on balls and dragging in the yard, and if you wash them in the washing machine they fade a little but become new again. They are highly recommended.
Αγορασμενα Ιούλιο 2020 στα 80€. Μέσα σε λιγότερο από 9 μήνες ήπιας χρήσης (εν μέσω λοκνταουν) τρύπησαν οι μύτες λες και ήταν από χαρτόνι. Ντροπή και αισχος. Τα προηγούμενα NB τα έχω από το 2006 και είναι σαν καινούρια. Σίγουρα κάτι έχει αλλάξει προς το χειρότερο στην ποιότητα κατασκευής.
They are very comfortable on the foot
I had them in my favorites for a long time with the purpose of buying them when the price drops. I don't think I would have paid 90-100 euros, but at 50 euros with free shipping, it would be a shame not to buy them. They are comfortable and can be worn in many occasions. I love them in other colors as well and I'm ready to shoot.
Although I had NB 574 (all suede) I was swayed by the comments and ordered these in a size bigger. I returned them to get my size, which is perfect.
They are very comfortable, not tight like the previous ones, and we'll see if they last as long as the old ones (5 years and still no signs of wear).
Also, these all-black ones are much nicer up close, and the "N" on the side and the heel tab glow dark gray when hit by light, which adds a lot to the appearance.
My only concern is about the glue, where all shoes hurt nowadays because, due to ecology or whatever, they trick us into constantly buying everything by using something that is more like saliva than glue.
Update: -2 stars because they are DANGEROUSLY slippery when wet, worse than cheap market shoes!

It is the fourth pair of 574 that I buy and this one disappointed me because of the suede texture of the leather. Within a short time, it looks particularly worn, as if I have worn it for several years. Other than that, it has the familiar pleasant walking sensation that the 574 series has

I bought them for their appearance to wear them at the office, but even the little walking I do is torture with them, compared to similar sneakers from other brands, not athletic ones.
Visually, yes, they are nice, but I don't think they are worth 80-90 euros
Very good athletic/casual shoe. I have them for 5 years, without daily use as they are alternated with other pairs and I am 100% satisfied.
I bought them 3 months ago for seasonal work in white leather. While they are nice shoes, they are definitely not worth the money I paid (85€). My feet have filled with calluses and were hurting until I got shoe insoles from the pharmacy. Good shoes for walking, but that's about it. They are not suitable for more than that, especially for work. Additionally, the back part on the heel has worn out and torn.

They are very tight, from the first month they had wear on their inner fabric (lining). I bought them for about 58 euros, I don't think they are worth more, they are excessively overpriced.

I am writing this review not to evaluate the shoe as a whole, although I have formed an opinion, but to protect potential buyers from possible inconvenience. According to the new balance guide, I should have ordered my size, i.e. 43. However, after reading other comments here, I ordered 44. It was really tight and short, so I ordered 44.5, thinking it would fit me. Unfortunately, this is also not correct - I consider it a given that with the pressure exerted by the foot, it will eventually create a hole in the toe (as it has happened to others). I don't know how much it will stretch over time, but it seems to put pressure on the front part of the foot. In the end, I ordered size 45. So I agree with the other reviewer here: order two sizes larger than your regular, non-athletic shoe size.
Third time I will buy them, they go well with everything. It's an awesome shoe, the only negative is that after a few months (obviously) the front part of the sole wears out, but even if you take it to a rough terrain it does an amazing job. In short, one of the few shoes that are worth their price.
I consider the 110 € that I paid for them to be expensive for a shoe like this. I mean, the 574 from New Balance is one of the models that have made history and have been bought by thousands of people worldwide. With other brands, I wear size 43, but with New Balance, I actually had to go one size up and get a 44! I saw that this is something common for this particular brand and that it happens to most people. I immediately noticed the difference in the sole compared to Adidas and Nike! It's a level higher! However, I still think that their price is excessively high and it's worth buying them only if you find them on sale or during discount periods!
The shoes are very good and beautiful. They are reflective and of high quality. They are worth their money. The only negative, which is why I gave 4 stars, is that they slip a lot, especially in the rain.
First of all, let me say that I bought them for 50 euros and not for the current price of 110. I'm not used to wearing similar shoes, so at first I thought they didn't fit me, but eventually I got used to them and I think they're fine. Because they are chunkier than the shoes I usually wear (I wear shoes like Vans Old Skool), they made my foot look smaller than it is. I should mention that I don't wear them every day, so after one year and three months of use, they are still in very good condition. The only point of wear is at the back of the shoe where the heel is (below where it says NB), where the color has faded and the white material underneath has started to show. They have a soft sole, so I believe that will be the point that reveals the quality of construction in the end. They are more comfortable, lighter, and cooler than the other shoes I have. At the price I see them now, I wouldn't buy them. I think they are worth it at the price of 50 euros that I bought them for. If you plan to buy them, get them one size larger. I normally wear size 44, but I have these in size 45.
Great attention to the size. Half to one size up because it has a narrow fit. No comparison to the classic 574!

Λερώνονται αμέσως! Και το χειρότερο είναι ότι δεν καθαρίσουν εύκολα. Υπέροχο χρώμα αλλά άκυρο εκτός αν φοριέται μόνο στο σαλόνι.
Χειμώνας του 2013 ψάχνοντας για παπούτσια πέφτω πάνω σε μια βιτρίνα με τις νέες παράλαβες των New Balance 574, η εταιρεία τότε σχεδόν άγνωστη στην Ελλάδα με πολλά χρόνια αποχής απο την αγορα. Αγοράζω τα παπουτσια, και απο την πρωτη στιγμη που να πατησα ενιωσα οτι δεν θα ξανα αγοράσω παπούτσια αλλης εταιρειας. Από τότε εχω αγοράσει πανω απο 6 ζευγαρια New balance,μεχρι που πριν ενα χρονο εκανα δωρο στην σύζυγο ενα ζευγαρι 574, έχοντας παντα στο μυαλο μου την ποιοητητα της εταιρειας που ξερω. Δυστυχώς τα παπούτσια μετα απο τέσσερεις μήνες σκίστηκαν αδικαιολόγητα στην μυτη , πρωτα το δεξι και μετα απο λιγο καιρό το αριστερό. Τα παπούτσια πήγαν για ποιητικό ελεγχο στην Αθήνα μέσω του καταστήματος της Μητροπόλεως στην Θεσ/νικη,και ενώ η εταιρεία δίνει 6 μηνες εγγύηση για ολα της τα παπούτσια η απάντηση ηταν οτι η φθορά ωφελείτε στην καθημερινή χρηση. Η New Balance καθιερώθηκε στην αγορά και εχει ριξει την ποιότητα των υλικών της. Πλεον τα παπουτσια της ειναι με ημερομηνια ληξης μικροτερης των 6 μηνων.

Well, there are many people who say that it needs a size bigger, even two sizes bigger. Guys, two sizes is too much, let's not go crazy now. Even one size is big enough. I suggest getting half a size bigger, it's just fine. I had bought a pair of New Balance 574 and there is quite a difference for half a size bigger that I saw, I'm not saying that for some people it might fit half a size bigger and be slightly bigger than their regular size because that's how half a size is from the first purchase I made, it's not just slightly bigger, it's significantly bigger. So even if you get your regular size, you're good. I don't know why some people who try their regular size say that it's small and needs a bigger size. I believe it happens by chance, maybe in 10 or 15 of their purchases, two pairs might turn out slightly smaller, but that's not the case for everyone. So for me, half a size bigger if you want. Because let's not forget that they stretch over time.
Guys... generally as first impressions that I didn't even have the chance to wear, let's say, but I have to say that they fit well on the foot. I tried them half a size bigger than my usual size, from 44 to 44.5, and they are perfect for me. Half a size smaller than your regular size and you're good. As for the construction, they seem very high quality and this is my first purchase of this specific shoe. Of course, I also have the New Balance 997H, which are also amazing shoes with great construction. They don't have much difference in terms of construction quality compared to the 574, in my opinion. The leather on the outside, which has a name that I can't remember, seems very durable. It won't get scratched by fingers or anything. However, it seems like this shoe is not meant for heavy use, other than casual walking and everyday activities, excluding sports and hiking, etc. For those activities, no. Other than that, you can wear them wherever you want. Now, what can I say? Only time will tell how long they will last. I hope they will last at least a year or more if possible. Generally, from what I've heard, New Balance is known for their iconic appearance and construction that will never deteriorate. Now that I've experienced them, as long as they are available in the market, I will trust them more and continue to buy and repurchase them!
Beautiful shoe and incredibly comfortable for walking in the city. They can be worn with any style.
Second time I buy the same series. The shoe is very good for walking. I walk 10+ kilometers every day and they don't bother me or make me tired. With the application of talc, they don't smell as much as others. The materials are very good, that's why the price is worth it. They are worth their money
