Navaris Stainless Steel Marmite 3.9lt / 16cmCode: 33771575

It does not have a non-stick coating, so cooking requires a significant amount of oil to prevent food from sticking to the bottom. Additionally, it is compatible with all types of stoves (gas, ceramic, induction, electric).

With the condition of becoming our main pot for pasta, it has been sitting on the shelf for over 6 months! The reason is that it was sold to us for pasta, but everything sticks to its metal strainer! As a result, they break and remain half-cooked, making it difficult to stir them! What a shame!

I bought it to use it with an induction hob mainly for making fried potatoes.

Its height is perfect for preventing oil from splattering everywhere, while its small size means that it heats up quickly.

I specifically bought it for an induction hob because the cheap ones around €40 - €60 have a small coil (usually 14cm) and regardless of what they claim, they are suitable for a pot that is approximately 4cm smaller than the size of the coil.

The things I didn't like are that the walls of the pan are very thin, giving the impression of a cheap utensil, and that the mesh holds oil at the bottom, so when I turn it upside down to remove the potatoes, I always end up making a mess.

Overall, I am satisfied and I recommend it for induction or gas hobs, but not for ceramic or electric ones because it will probably take longer to heat up on the latter two types of hobs.
