Description

Campus double-roof tent, capable of accommodating a family along with their luggage in comfortable spaces with two rooms and a vestibule with a canopy. It features a double sunshade roof, while its fabric is waterproof. Internally, there is breathable polyester. The tent is easily set up with 3 main large 11mm poles, and there is also a canopy with an extension and uprights.

It is cross-ventilated with 4 doors, cool in the summer, and comfortable due to the large interior height of 1.85m and its many openings.

Double Canvas

The tent contains 2 layers of material, which are placed one on top of the other on its roof or top part.

Usually, the first layer is a waterproof material, such as waterproof nylon or polyester, which protects against rain. The second layer can be a fabric that allows air to pass through and provides better ventilation to the tent.

Fiberglass frame

The frame made of fiberglass is a common choice for the construction of camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.

Fiberglass is flexible, allowing the frame to be lightweight and flexible to support the tent fabric.

What does the waterproof rating on camping tents indicate?

Waterproofing in a tent shows us how much water the outer fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to how many millimeters of a vertical column of water (and thus pressure) a square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.

The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is, and thus the warmer the tent. Widely used waterproofing values range from 500mm to 10000mm.     This tent is stock from 2005, I bought it back then. For today's standards, it is very heavy and difficult to set up, and it is probably rotten from the weather. They are asking for 175 euros, it's not even worth half of that.

    The quality of the tent is very good, it rained and no rain passed inside at all, definitely two people are needed for setup and it has very good ventilation, the only negative is the two front entrances that are not functional because they open like large windows!!! Very good choice
