Reviews
Book "prophetic" by, I believe, the greatest and (not coincidentally) most "buried" political philosopher and economist today, from the Mass Deception Media (right and "left"). It clearly and indisputably shows how today's destruction began, through Greece's connection to open markets and its entry into the EU. A destroyed productive structure, investments only in "infrastructure", private capital that never wanted to invest substantially in the country, clientelistic public sector with "loans", instead of the expected (from the "old PASOK" of Andreas) taxation on the wealthy, showcase projects by the same corrupt "Greek capital", led to deficit balances and created the debt. A debt that, as the author emphasizes, is the result and not the cause of the crisis! The author's documented critique of all political currents is fascinating. And the solution? Yes, the book does not only criticize like dozens of others. It proposes a way out of our misery, on the table: Self-sufficient economy (not self-sufficiency, which is unattainable and undesirable), meaning meeting everyone's needs based on local resources and from there, engaging in bilateral and multilateral exchanges with other countries. Something that requires a break with globalization and its organizations (WTO, IMF, NATO, etc.), exit from the EU and the implementation of relevant measures, in a transitional stage of self-sufficient development for the reconstruction of the productive structure, and a corresponding new consumption model in contrast to the overconsumption and developmental bubble of the past. There is a solution, only our will as a people remains.
