The main body of the book consists of the political diaries of two periods: 2019-2021 and 2012-2013. It also includes some other texts that I have published in newspapers during the period 2019-2021 and in the magazine Kappa in 1987, which in my opinion remain relevant in today's context and continue to have a broader ideological interest. It also includes, as an introduction, a completely new text that explains the choice of intervention in the form of a political diary and contains several experiential elements, both political and personal. Although an economist - who as such tends to delve into economic issues - I believe that the Left, if it wants to regain its ideological, and not only, hegemony, must intervene in a very wide range of issues. That is why in my political diary one will encounter analyses of the importance of fiscal policy, as well as literary texts by Jonathan Coe, Andrea Camilleri, Maro Douka, and Edward Louis; from positions on the privatization of natural monopolies to gender issues; from human rights to the environmental crisis. And as I read, from page to page and from section to section, I immediately notice his humble, self-evident, unshakable, aphoristic disposition.
