I gave it 4 stars because of its price at six and a half euros and the fact that it has a metal casing, plus it has relatively accurate and precise orientation indications. However, if I overlook the price, I would give it 3 stars. Now, onto the negatives. Since I bought two of the same compasses, I noticed that one had a very large air bubble inside, which makes it difficult to read the degrees, and depending on its position, it also affects the needle sometimes due to its size. On the other hand, the needle is properly elevated from the dial and works well with larger calls, which is helpful. The second one had a small bubble as it should and the degrees are more readable, but it needs to be completely straight without any tilt, otherwise the needle touches the dial and shows the wrong direction. This is because the needle is too short compared to the dial. In other words, there are differences in the quality of construction between the two compasses. However, considering its price and if you get used to it, plus the metal casing, it does its job and shows the correct direction. If I were to buy again, I would purchase something more expensive, maybe it won't have the flaws I mentioned, because although it functions, if you are in nature, you want convenience and not to struggle to keep the compass perfectly straight or try to move bubbles simultaneously when you want to read the degrees
