I use it in the bedroom and I have to say that this year I have not used the insecticide. Yes, it is effective, not as much as the insecticide, but it is important that you do not inhale chemicals.
These insect traps require specific handling. You have to activate them a few hours before sleep with the door of the room closed so that the insects go to the lamp. If you turn it on when you go to sleep, the mosquitoes will prefer to bite first and then go for burning.
I consider this specific insect trap to be expensive, but it offers a relaxing purple light for sleep that is not bothersome and also has a three-speed fan that is noisy, but if you want you can activate it to suck in the approaching insect.
Overall, I am satisfied since I have not turned on the insecticide and it has indeed burned many flying insects. Mosquitoes, flies, and other larger insects.
