I bought it 3 months ago (256gb) simply for its capacity, it only worked on laptops for work, mine only about 10 times... Suddenly it stopped being recognized and of course I lost my files, it doesn't even appear as a device for possible software repair as if it burned... when will it work again?
Maybe one of the worst USB sticks someone can buy. Within 2 months, it suddenly stopped working completely and I couldn't save my files. I contacted Intenso themselves and they simply sent me an email telling me to buy another stick. Terrible file transfer speed (when it was working), even with a USB 3.0 port that it supposedly supports. Transferring a 7.9 GB file took about 30 minutes, with the fastest speed reaching only 2 MB/s.
I bought the USB stick yesterday and since then I have been transferring large files, about 45GB, to and from the stick. Because the speed was not written on the packaging, I searched on the manufacturer's website and it said 70MB/s. At first, I was surprised because the transfer speed shown on the computer was around 110MB/s. However, during a transfer, I noticed that the USB stick suddenly heated up and the speed dropped to approximately 65MB/s. Apart from that, there hasn't been any serious issue so far.
Why are you in the reviews .... you see it's terrible ....
ok ok why it's terrible: poor construction (internally) as they always have problems with read write and generally not reliable at all
Go get something else ..
It is simply too slow and doesn't work...
There is definitely some issue with its construction.
I have had it for 4 years for everyday use and for watching movies on TV. It doesn't set the world on fire with its performance, but it handles all the 2160p Blu-ray files I have thrown at it effortlessly.
Unacceptable. Two were purchased. Transfer speeds on both were not more than 200KB/s and with frequent interruptions.
Waste of money. I bought it last summer, used it once to back up important files, and then 2-3 times to watch a movie on TV. Today, when I tried to retrieve something from the backup, it stopped working. It doesn't format to NTFS, file copying takes ages, and eventually, the TV stopped recognizing it. After formatting it to FAT32, it lost half of its capacity and went down to 32GB. Furthermore, it freezes and throws errors when trying to copy or transfer files. Maybe with a prayer, it might manage to copy a small file. Stay away from this, it's the worst purchase I've ever made. Thankfully, I had made backups of the same files on my old computer, otherwise, I would have lost all my data. It ended up where it belonged, in the trash. Over the years, I've had hundreds of USB sticks in my hands, and this one turned out to be the worst. The only time I had a USB stick break was when I connected it incorrectly to the motherboard ports. All the other sticks last for a decade and still work.
In the beginning, it was good, but after some time it went downhill. It opened very slowly, took a long time to open and copy files, until at some point it broke and took my files with it. Completely unreliable.
One star and that's because of the price. It is unacceptable both during copying and playing movies. The media player of the Sony TV freezes and I have to restart it. First and last time I bought this brand.
The USB stick broke 1.5 months after its purchase. From the first day of purchase, it was defective. It had problems with recognition, as well as a very delayed start in accessing files. The transfer speeds usually did not exceed 500 Kbytes/sec.
Not reliable at all. Four months after purchasing it, it crashed and I lost all my saved files. Another negative aspect is the lid that doesn't offer any protection, it comes off easily and can be lost.
And good price and quite good speeds especially in READ. In Sequential in CrystalDiskMark it reaches 120 / 28 MB/sec (R/W). The only negative is that at this price you get it OEM (no retail packaging), so it is not suitable for a gift.
Do not buy it, you will lose your files like I did...
Unfortunately, it presented a critical error and is now useless
Excellent and at a good price
