This is a slow USB, with write speeds stabilizing at best at 10-11 MB/sec, while read speeds are limited by the USB-2 interface to 20-25 MB/sec. However, no one would buy it for its performance, but for its durable and convenient construction. It is perfect to have it on a keychain for files that you want to have with you and don't change much. Its price is also very good. I had the 16GB one and recently bought the 64GB one as well.

Even today, I consider Sandisk to be the top company in this field, for many reasons. However, this specific flash drive turned out to be the worst purchase I have made. After a few months of use, one day it gave me the error message "disk write protection". This means that I cannot write anything to the flash drive or retrieve anything from it. Additionally, it did not allow me to perform any formatting in any environment (e.g. safe mode). I spent two whole days studying tutorials on forums and YouTube, but nothing worked. I sent it for replacement, hoping that the next one won't do the same thing to me again.

Small, convenient to have on your keys, lightweight, and very good build quality. It doesn't heat up, it doesn't complain.

In terms of speed, it's okay, it's USB 2.0, it's not super fast, but the speed is consistent (you can play high-quality 4K movies from the flash drive).

In terms of durability, I have to say that after a year, it has undergone significant abuse. I have formatted it 10-12 times (for unrelated reasons), filled it up and emptied it 6-7 times, and its speed has not decreased.

Mine also had a file encryption program included, I don't know if they all have it.

I would definitely buy it again without hesitation!

Update: 5 years and many reads/writes later, it's still going strong.

Το χρισιμοποιω στη σχολη μου για αποθικεφση και μεταφορα αρχιων και ειναι πραγματικα απιστευτα βολικο ειναι πολυ λεπτο και ορεο, οτι μεταφορα και να θελω να κανω γινετε πολυ γριγορα και δεν καθιστερο καθολου (ακομα και 8GB μεταφορα που εκανα εγινε σε 4 λεπτα περιπου) ειναι πολυ καλο και λογικα θα παω σε 64GB (το 16αρι το πιρα για δοκιμη και με επισε πως ειναι απο τα καλιτερα)
