10 times it worked and then broke!! It works like a fan, it doesn't turn on to dehumidify. You get what you pay for in the end.
I have a 52-55sqm house and I have to say that it does its job very well. It "works" from 22:00 until 6:00 in the morning. The noise it makes is at normal levels. I have also used it for drying clothes and it does a very good job there too. I also have to say that as someone with asthma who is bothered by humidity, now with my dehumidifier it has stopped (I used to cough every morning as soon as I got out of bed). It cost 157€. I believe it is worth its money and with proper use and maintenance, someone can "keep" it for a long period of time.
Elsewhere it says it covers 80 square meters (no way)... here it says 64 square meters. I would say it is effective around 60 square meters... moderate noise... good quality construction... I don't know about consumption yet, but according to the manufacturer, it burns 350W per hour.
