It comes with a battery in the remote control and each wireless socket indicates which number of buttons on the remote control it corresponds to. The commands are executed instantly and within a large living room as well as from the adjacent dining room, it doesn't lose signal from any obstacle up to the 8-9 meters it reached.

I bought two sets of these as gifts (for different people) because personally, I will need one with more sockets on a common remote control (it has 5-6 sockets). Over time, I don't know if they lose their connection, break completely, or open/close on their own, nor if the remote control needs batteries too often. I mention these because with cheap wireless devices, these issues are possible.

I am sure that if you try to put two sets from the same company in one house, the remote control of one set will also control the devices of the other set (meaning it will open/close something that belongs to the other set) because there is no frequency selection - all sets are fixed on the same frequencies. This applies to all RF devices - attention is needed in the specs to avoid overlapping frequencies.

Finally, I didn't measure it, but because the receiver of each wireless socket is permanently active (waiting to receive a signal from the remote control), there will be a consumption of around 0.5W/socket. Depending on what is connected to them, this may be more or less energy-efficient compared to the standby consumption of the respective power supply.
