A very interesting read and given that this was the author's first published book, it is very promising for his future works that I am eager to read.

The characters are mostly likable, the world steals the show for me, the plot moves at an exciting pace, and the ending is action-packed and satisfying.

If I had to mention any negatives, it would be the fact that some characters may feel too perfect in their honesty and skills, and at times slightly annoying, and sometimes the atmosphere was a bit light and the characters didn't always react logically according to the situation.

Overall, an enjoyable book that is easy to read and I would recommend it even to casual readers.
