Freshly purchased to accompany Lenovo G710 17'' laptop as an external monitor. Overall, the screen is decent for its price if you get it for under 100€. The build quality is good and the plastics have a matte finish without looking cheap. It doesn't have a bezel except for the bottom, and there is a margin of about half a point inside the screen, which is not something tragic. Colors and response are fine, and the menu is easy and fast with just one button/joystick below the LG logo. The stand is attached with 2 screws and while it seems relatively stable, it is not meant for a lot of movement, but it can be placed close to the wall (17cm). The power cable/charger is a long brick and only has an HDMI cable inside. The screen is matte with a membrane that doesn't provide the best image clarity for a 24'' screen at 1920x1080 and 75hz, it seems to pixelate. Wherever I saw it in stores playing videos, it looked very good in that aspect, but I wouldn't choose it if I had seen it in a desktop environment.

P.S. If someone wants to make the external monitor the primary screen and have the laptop screen as an extended display (i.e., have the desktop icons on the larger screen), they can right-click on display settings and select the desired screen out of the two, then scroll down and set it as default. If they want to have the extended display on the left or right, they can select screen 1 or 2 and drag and drop it to the desired side.
