For starters, it left me with good impressions, the battery dropped to 35% after a day and a half with heavy usage, good screen, good photos, fast browsing, screen mirroring without any glitches, fully armored (it fell out of my pocket without a scratch). The fingerprint sensor has some issues (sometimes it doesn't work) and I would prefer the speaker to be a bit louder. It also has a speaker amplifier (on/off) but it gets distorted when you turn up the volume. Other than that, it's worth every penny of its purchase.
I bought it on 21/9/2021. It quickly started having problems with its speaker. It couldn't be heard. I sent it to the service center and got it back after a whole month. This happened on 23/3/2022. I GOT IT A MONTH LATER. Now, as we speak on 12/11/2022, the screen has come off. It still works, but if I send it again, it will probably take another month. I'm thinking of fixing it myself.
Other than that (ha ha ha), everything is fine. Good battery, good camera, fast. Oh, it also has problems with the wifi. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting constantly, and it's really annoying. I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO BE OUT OF WARRANTY SO I CAN HAVE SOME PEACE.
I give it 3 stars because the NCS doesn't work, it's just decorative, and it doesn't follow the correct steps. Nevertheless, as a battery, it's worth it because even in climate change and heat, it didn't drop much. I won't discuss its protective features; it has fallen many times at work and hasn't been damaged. Just be careful with the NCS
The ultimate disaster this mobile phone. It worked correctly for 2 months and then went crazy. The screen freezes every 5 seconds. Sometimes suddenly an invisible hand presses buttons and the external physical buttons are activated on the third press. I wasted my money.
Well, I have heard a lot about the WiFi and this applies to me too. It doesn't connect and I have to restart it to reconnect, and for some reason, the touch screen presses on its own and I have to shake it to restore it normally. I can't say it's perfect, but if I didn't have these problems, I'm considering getting the Ulefone Armor 21. The Armor 8 Pro is good because it has 4G coverage and when I turn on the data, I get around 80 to 90 Mbps, but I have reached 150 Mbps as well. But I have another issue with the fingerprint, I set it up and after two or three days, it doesn't recognize it. These are my main negatives, but overall, everything is fine
I have it for almost 2 years. On the positive side, it has great durability against falls and impacts. It is waterproof, as I have taken photos and videos underwater without any issues. The speed is good for applications and the screen is satisfactory in terms of resolution and size. The battery life is very good. On the negative side, it does not automatically connect to WiFi. Every time, I have to switch to airplane mode and manually select the WiFi network to connect, otherwise it keeps using mobile data. The speaker is bad and you can't hear people speaking. You almost have to put it on speakerphone. Also, the fingerprint sensor often requires multiple attempts to work. And often, you will just need to enter a passcode because you get tired of trying. The camera's focus on close-up shots doesn't work properly, making it difficult to take close-up photos. If some things are fixed, it is worth it as a mobile phone, especially for people who want something durable and resistant to use. I can't say that I am disappointed as I have gotten used to some things, but I would probably look for something else for my next purchase.
In 4 months of use, it started charging very slowly.
It stays on the charger all night and maybe gets 10-15%...
Now it has been 2 weeks at the dealership and we are waiting for a response...
UPDATE!!!!!!
It has been 3 months at the dealership and we still haven't received a response.... Of course, not a word about a replacement.....
Very good in everything for me, my only complaint is the waterproofing of the speaker. When you take the speaker out of the water, it sounds hoarse and it takes a while to recover.
Well, my experience with the device. After 1.5 years, I noticed a slight decrease in battery endurance. In terms of durability, it is indeed good. In August, I fell off my scooter, broke the lock and one side, and the phone only had a small scratch on the cameras (which did not affect them!). There are some minor errors in the software translations to Greek. The fingerprint sensor on the sides sometimes becomes annoying because it reads your touch when you simply try to hold the device, causing it to block. Never had any issues with network or WiFi. For €160 (4/64), it is value for money
Unfortunately, after two months of use, the screen would freeze and constantly open windows. It's a shame because I was satisfied with my previous device.
The mobile for its money is "almost ok". A major drawback is the wifi, to connect to any wifi you have to cross yourself, literally, I thought it was only my device's fault but unfortunately, from what I read in the comments, many people have the connection-disconnection wifi problem. Secondly, sometimes it freezes for no reason. On the other hand, it is very sturdy, good battery, good camera, it's ok, neither cold nor hot, for its money it's ok, you get what you pay for.
After months of heavy use, the mobile phone is a beast, I have really worn it out. The only thing I have noticed is that the touch on the screen is lost and it seems to be pressed whenever it wants. I don't know if it's a software or hardware problem. After opening and closing the screen, it comes back for a while and then starts all over again. For the next mobile phone, I would go for the same brand and category, just newer.
I bought the phone after a lot of searching and I was really excited at first because it covered me perfectly: Durable, waterproof (you can wash it under the tap easily!), long battery life, instant access and great accuracy on Google maps, super fast browsing, sturdy, unexpectedly clear photos during the day, and flawless for calls. Games and heavy applications don't concern me, so I don't have an opinion on that. Another very positive impression was the pre-installed screen protector plus a spare one (!), which means saving twenty euros and another one from a protective case that you don't need to buy.
After ten months of flawless operation, it suddenly started giving me various issues: Sometimes the speaker doesn't sound good (as if it's a broken turntable!) and then it fixes itself, sometimes I can't hear the other person well or they can't hear me in the way I described above, and then it comes back, the camera doesn't automatically correct the zooming, resulting in blurry photos (if you want to take a close-up, only use the macro or switch to the front camera), and finally, the charging, sometimes but not always, becomes very slow! When I search "ulefone armor 8pro" on YouTube, it shows videos of replacing the speaker, which I don't think is a coincidence! I have solved the issue with the speaker and microphone by using Bluetooth, but the camera still bothers me because the photos were truly amazing!
While at first it seemed durable and high-quality in all areas, suddenly, before even reaching one year of operation, it started to not connect to WiFi. After contacting the dealership, a fault was discovered on the motherboard, but the warranty had expired. Then, it started to freeze occasionally, specifically when connected to the charger, and it would become completely unresponsive until it unfroze on its own. Initially, the camera was very reliable, but over time, it started to produce strange images.
The device is being used normally, without any mishandling, for everyday regular use.
A very good and honest phone, all its functions are top-notch and more. One negative aspect is its weight, but on the other hand, it's also good because you don't have it constantly in your hand, so you're not constantly on the phone...
I will start with the positives:
1. Good sound quality.
2. It doesn't break easily.
3. Fast.
Average characteristics:
(Camera) (video) and battery.
Negatives:
1. It is not completely waterproof because when water falls on the speaker for a long time, you can't hear anything. Since it is waterproof, it shouldn't be affected to a great extent.
2. To charge the phone, it has something like a little box that opens and closes, serving as a slot for the SIM card and headphones.
3. And most importantly!! It is difficult to use wired headphones because the jack is very narrow, and you have to press it or have it at an angle to use wired headphones. These are my thoughts. If you take care of your phone and don't break it, don't get this one. On the contrary, if you want a phone to throw around without worrying about it breaking, and with the positive characteristics I mentioned above, then this is for you. Good luck, guys and girls!
It annoys me that in the photo, in the bottom left corner, there is an option to display the model of the TIL (for advertising to others when I send a photo), and there is no option to print in a corner (e.g. bottom right) the date and time. If I could have it for a week, I would know the things and I wouldn't buy it. XIAOMI again XIAOMI next time.
Many possibilities, the dog has fallen 5-6 times and doesn't feel anything. The camera is fine, it's fast and doesn't freeze. It's worth the 170 I bought it for, a great choice. It's a bit heavy but I expected that, it's durable and with such a battery, what more can you expect. Fast charging and the battery lasts 2 days with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, data, videos, calls, and photos all day long. And it even goes to the third day, I charge it when it's at 35/100 so I don't urgently need it.
P.S. After 1.5 years, the screen broke from a simple fall. The replacement costs 120 euros and a factory reset is required. So it didn't happen. Also, it took days due to shipping. No one takes responsibility. After-sales service is zero. And the battery started to drain easily. Many times it got stuck while charging. For 2 years, it's okay until there.
