For mountain running, you need a shoe that will keep you comfortable all day without weighing you down. The Ultra Glide from Salomon offers you more grip and comfort on every trail. Additionally, it features the Quicklace system for optimal fit.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Excellent shoe. Excellent shock absorption ability for trails/rocky terrain (Mount Syggrou forest), without losing feedback.
It also works for road, but given its trail nature, the sole will wear out faster. I am looking to find a road version of it. Whatever I have tried next to it (ghost, hyperion tempo, ride, ultraboost), they do not give me the same shock absorption and feedback. You could say that the glycerin is more shock-absorbing, but there you lose in sensation.

The shoe is perfect!!!
It is soft like wearing the pulsar, but it has a stable grip on all terrains.
In terms of weight, it is 320gr for size 46. However, it feels lighter.
I have worn it for two Sundays, 4 hours each run, and it was comfortable on my feet with perfect shock absorption.
The lacing worries you a bit that it might come undone along the way.
So far, as I put them in the pocket on the tongue, they have not come undone.
I am very satisfied, I think I am wearing vaporfly in terms of comfort.
Edit after two months and about 70 kilometers, when I stepped on wet grass, the soles started moving inside the shoe.
Amazing shoe for trail running. I ran a 15-kilometer trail race in Alepochori and they didn't hurt me anywhere (knees, waist). They don't slip in any case.
They are specifically shoes for running on mountains, dirt, and rocks. If you wear them on concrete for running, of course, they will slip. Anyone who wants shoes for concrete will obviously go for ultraboost adidas, and for mountains, these are the ones.
Enjoyable on both dirt and hard surfaces (asphalt, etc.) as they have a nice soft sole that absorbs shocks. Something between trail and road, it has suited me perfectly for both. For maximum precision in stepping, get them in your correct size and not larger as usual in other Salomon models
