I bought it to replace a multifunction device from another company that worked perfectly for ten whole years before giving up the ghost...
I'll start with the negatives: One would expect that a printer that costs over 400 euros would be noticeably faster in printing a simple page and in scanning. For home use, I wouldn't call it slow. I just wouldn't use it for professional use at all. Also, for its price, its plastics don't seem that high-quality. My previous printer, although cheaper, seemed more durable. Its screen is small (about 6 cm diagonal). Although it's touch and has sufficient resolution, its graphics are not as clear when viewed from the side.
Now for the positives, its ergonomics are very good. The ecotank type inks are easy to refill. The panel with the buttons and the screen changes its tilt so that it can be seen from various positions. The maintenance box can be easily replaced by the user by simply unscrewing one screw. The scanner has an automatic feeder for multiple pages (not double-sided for scanning). The paper is fed from the front and there is easy access to the back for removing jammed pages. It is very economical in terms of ink. I still need to verify if the inks actually last for three years as the manufacturer claims, but even if they last only one year, it is still economical. My previous printer had ink costs of 85 euros every year and a half. The Epson inks cost about 35 euros. Finally, the printer is quieter than my old one.
In conclusion, it's a good purchase, I just expected better printing and scanning speed performance and better plastic quality for its price. It's not a coincidence that it has excellent reviews on all related websites (in other countries, the model is referred to as ET-4850).
The worst. You die slower, it gets stuck when printing more pages, it doesn't do double-sided copying. Money wasted. A similar machine that I bought 15 years ago is much faster and more capable. Stay away.

I have never regretted it because for 2 years, I have been working full-time at home for 2 children, one in high school and the other in elementary school, with approximately 70-100 prints per month.
I haven't changed the ink yet, even though I bought a set that cost an extra 35€ when I purchased the printer.
Only positive the cheap ink that I still don't know how much it will yield, but it is excessively slow if you want it for the office, to print a 48-page black and white document in double-sided printing it takes with a stopwatch... 26 minutes...
Use for about 9 months and 2500 pages of production. It printed incorrectly and was replaced with a new one in the first few days. And the new one prints incorrectly but not as severe. Mainly when there is not much paper in the tray (God bless the tray). It seems cost-effective, but in 9 months it required heavy cleaning twice, which consumed half of the ink. With the current rate, the ink bottle will last for 3-4000 pages. The scanner is terrible. If you put paper from the feeder, in half of the cases you will have a paper jam, not to mention that the result is distorted pages with unreadable text due to the poor movement of the paper. I wonder why they give it to companies with MPS programs.
It is the 2nd EPSON with liquid (almost free) inks and the print quality is amazing. The colors are vibrant. Now, about the price - it is expensive BUT if you print as much as I do, it's worth the money just from the ink savings alone
For office use, the connectivity is the worst, every firmware update is a problem, unfortunately, a flaw.
