The diversion and mixing thermostat assembly for solar systems (Solar KIT) for hot water applications provides parallel connection of a solar water heater and a second heat source (wall-mounted gas boiler, boiler, heat pump, etc.) and aims at the optimal use of thermal energy from the sun and fuel savings in the most efficient way.

It consists of the diversion thermostat valve and the adjustable mixing valve. The diversion thermostat valve automatically diverts water from the solar system to the consumption or the wall-mounted gas unit, while the adjustable mixing thermostat valve controls and maintains a stable temperature of the hot water, providing safety protection against burns by automatically cutting off the supply of hot water in case of interruption of the cold water supply.
